Great entry, super relax and fun, I'm a sucker for any card game but this one was surprisingly good. It's such a simple concept but works so well.  Top marks from me on everything!

Developer

Artwork is really nice - quite enjoyed the vibes it gives... you really feel like you preparing for the last winter :)

Developer

Yes, we planned a lot theme wise and with integrating the jam's theme!

Submitted

Very cute!! I liked the artwork and once you get the mechanics, the game gets challenging but fun. I really liked it!

Developer

Thank you for your comment, hopefully the game was approachable enough!

It took a bit to get used to but then Im cruisin! Really fun, atho part of the card is obscured offscreen and id love to see the full artwork of the cards

Developer

Thank you for the kind feedback!

Peaceful, cute, chill. I liked the artwork and the mechanic of playing a card to move spots and gain energy. I noticed that the upgrade a card symbols don't match in the guide and the game. I would have wanted to see how many cards I have in the deck and discard. All in all enjoyable experience :)

Developer(+1)

Oh yes there might have been some mishaps in the dev process...

Those features were planned to be added, but lacking time, we did not do it :(...

Thank you for the review!

NICE! Wow this is one of the best ones I've seen so far! Really fun gameplay, and a compelling reason to keep playing. I didn't want to quit and let my bear die!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback :)

Really interesting spin on the loop theme, animal hibernating sure is mysterious... Love how creative it is! Poor bear though :(

Developer

Yes ahah, the bear had a good life still :')

Well pretty good ! I last for 11 years

Developer

Thank you so much for playing, good score :)

Really stunning art here and the music fit the theme of the game very well! I was a little stumped on a couple things. It seemed like I was always drawing a new card after playing one, but there was also a "draw a random card" spot on the circle and I wasn't sure what the difference was. Maybe if it were possible to see the deck contents it would help? Maybe you know the order of your deck and the random card is any one from your deck to shake things up...or maybe that is what's happening, not sure! Either way, very beautiful game!

Developer

Well to answer your question when entering a GET A CARD space, which is the one you seem to be describing, you get a new card, which is better than the one you have in your starting deck.

Thank you for the kind words however!

Ohhh I see! Let me play again, that makes a lot of sense

Submitted

Yup, that playthrough made so much more sense. Got to year 11, phew! Very cool game

I'll be completely honest: didn't know what I was doing so I just spammed cards. HOWEVER, from spamming those cards, I did eventually figure out what was going on! After that, I proceeded to... keep spamming cards to see how long I would last. I did enjoy doing so, though, so maybe that counts for something? Nice game!

Developer

Yes, maybe the game idea was a bit too much of a complex one for a jam this short, thank you for the kind words however!

I am speechless at the gorgeous art and sound design of this game. Absolutely beautiful game and it was so soothing to play. Only thing is that the game was a bit confusing at first, but the icons page really helped solve the issue. You should be very proud of yourself! Congratulations!!

Developer

Yes, I had the pleasure of working with very talented people!

I am glad you enjoyed the game and figured it out!

Thank you for playing again :)

Submitted

Lovely art, was a tad confused when I jumped in but I figured out overtime (I think?) I feel like your game would do well with a more built in tutorial

Developer

You can click on the "ICON" button to see what the spaces do, if that is still confusing that's fine too ahah :) Was an ambitious concept anyways

Submitted

Incredible Art, already release worthy!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing!

Submitted

I like the art and the vibes, but I was definitely counfused - I would love some more information about what the squares on the tiles do haha. cool stuff!

Developer

Hello thanks for playing,

We have a little reminder of the tiles effect when you click the "icon" button!

Hopefully that clears up stuff :)
