Yeey good luck ! :)

Where is the "LOOP" theme interpretation in the game... Did I miss it...?

The game is enjoyable, mostly, it's a bit frustrating when a flying enemy puts itself in a spot that's hard to reach and just does not move anymore...

Did not like the pseudo-deep meaningless narrative, bad luck, I am one of those people that gets sick of it really fast :,(.

The art is good however, I just wish the platforms aesthetic and physical existence had more emphasis, so you could distinguish them, (like with a different colour opacity or value).

The platforming is quite on point, navigating the levels feels decent.

The music and SFX are really cool, giving props to that.

Overall, missed the theme in my opinion, maybe it's making use of it but too weakly or too late.

Good game and good luck.

Good and refreshing spin on the theme "LOOP", a very creative idea indeed.

I just wish the game had more mechanics to expand upon, the gameplay feels a bit shallow for now.

The Art is lovely, there is some juice (perhaps a bit too much for me but everyone seems to like that), and the theme is quite adorable.

All in all a good game, although a bit empty as it is, even for a 4 days game jam.

Good job and good luck.

A fresh spin on the theme "LOOP", I appreciate that it's not yet another "play my level again and again" kind of game.

However I wish there was more to the gameplay, and making a rhythm game relying on music for a web build can be dangerous (input and audio lag)...

I understand that yours doesn't, but then it makes the game off-putting ever so slightly.

The visual art leaves a bit to be desired, I know you were alone in this but consider teaming up with people that you trust and can do the art, or working on your artistic skills if you are so inclined to really do it on your own.

The game is very punishing, miss a beat and you're in trouble, it doesn't seem fair as this happens straight from the beginning as you are trying to get used to the game...

Overall a fresh game, but lacks a bit in quality.

Good luck!

No worries about the quality of the game, you submitted something, that in itself is an achievement, trust me :)!

About the (?) space, there is some inconsistencies on the game, sometimes you just find yourself softlocked, I could not find the origin of the bug sadly...

Your feedback is very valuable, thank you!

We did plan to add some feedback, but due to lack of time we couldn't and some of the mechanics are indeed obscure / poorly explained...

Anyways I think the game might not be so simple for such an event, in which not everyone is aware of what a deck builder / engine builder game is :).

Thank you for the comment, glad you appreciated!

A very interesting narrative driven inspiration on the theme "LOOP", I am glad to see something that stands off.

Something I would like to point out is the unfortunate lack of interesting and new gameplay, instead we are playing a bunch of dialogues, and I also that looping through the same dialogue, while thematically relevant, is not really something I appreciated gameplay wise.

There were bugs here and there, nothing game breaking but I still went "Oh is that supposed to happen" sometimes...

Otherwise neat art, could be better but for a game this length it's already honourable.

I am not a fan of the narrative driven game genre, so I can't really I did enjoy the game overall, even though the story really affected me emotionally and is somewhat nail biting (Is it paranoia or a real thing happen / delusional thoughts... etc).

Music and Ambience wise, I did kind of felt the hospital vibe, a very eerie and boring place to be and not somewhere you want to stay.

The game is way too long for a game jam, try sticking with a gameplay loop that doesn't drag on for too long or you may lose some of your players in the process.

Overall good work, interesting spin on the theme, and good luck.

Thank you, my colleague did find out the idea for the narrative and I was on board with it!

The little flavour text at the end is somewhat dramatic yet poetic, tragic indeed...

Thank you for your insight!

Yes, we did lack some times to add some QOL and juice to the game :').

Thank you for your comment though, I had the chance to work with a very talented artist!

Definitely interesting, I only played dorf romantik out of all the games you mentioned (I even have the board game by the way).

Good luck implementing the mechanics you originally wanted, if you want to keep working on the project, that is!

Right now I wouldn't know how to "fix" it with the current foundations, I'll think about this

I really like the fact that the game includes the theme "LOOP" in an interesting way but the game doesn't work.

You can't interact much in the world and that's really unfortunate, besides I got softlocked in a level, and that's just no fun...

Graphics and SFX + Music are a bit repetitive and dull unfortunately...

Got very confused fast, the game needs to explain and make use of visual queues to tell play what to do.

All in all, I did not have a good experience, but hopefully it will be better next time you submit for a jam.

I did not understand right off the bat what the relation to the theme, 'LOOP' was. If it is playing the same level again and again then I am not really to into it.

Gameplay wise, the platforming is a bit jank sometimes, I ran through bugs too I suppose, but not too bad neither.

The game is visually really cool and the sfx and music are well integrated and fits the mood.

All in all I wish there was a different approach to the theme.

Good stuff, and good luck.

The theme interpretation, albeit really interesting, is kind of based on the premise that you don't have checkpoints in your level, which means that dying is infuriating.

In terms of gameplay I had a bit of fun, I just wish, as previously mentioned that the game had checkpoint but the theme would not have been respected then...

The game looks cute and minimalistic, there's not a lot going on however.

SFX and Music are nice, but the soundtrack can get a bit repetitive.

All in all a missed opportunity in my opinion.

Good luck!

Very cool Noita-ish spin on the jam theme which was "LOOP", I like the new take on the vampire survivor genre.

The gameplay is really on point, and the theme was tied to it, which I particularly appreciated.

I wish I had more to do than just run around during the wave phases but then again I also have to account for using my spells most effectively with the movement I do.

The art is amazing, the sfx are punchy and satisfying and the music is really tickling my fancy.

I wish however that the rounds weren't as long, and maybe that I had more to say in how the spells were casted.

All in all a very impressive and polished result for this 4 days jam.

Excellent work!

A neat spin on the "LOOP" theme, however I wish there was more to this game than just watching a steam engine train go on a loop on tracks.

Gameplay wise there is basically nothing, you just watch the train and eventually pick an upgrade, where's the fun? Am I watching a video :)?

Such a missed opportunity, I love the train loop stuff idea but the gameplay is empty...

Assets wise the game is on point.

It's also visually appealing, the little minimalistic train and desert is cute.

Overall missed opportunity, please consider adding a more exciting gameplay next time!

Good luck!

The "LOOP" mechanic was added in a bit of an awkward way, specifically building tiles around the island is unnecessarily complex especially if you are trying to do something specific.

I still appreciate the effort into integrating the theme but I think it was still done a bit poorly.

Also I have no clear objective, (am I going as far as possible? am I just chilling building a landscape? do I have something to complete?)...

The assets are lovely, but the gameplay is off.

I think there was a missed opportunity there, a hex game with loops could have been really unique and awesome at the same time.

Decent project, but please provide a web build for next time! It changes everything:

I'll check it out yet :')

Yes, our artist was really talented, props to her!

I enjoyed the game, just thinking here that the theme "LOOP" has been poorly integrated (You loop over the same map over and over again, albeit with better cards / stats...) I don't know, wasn't too riveting for me...

I guess the enemy also loop in their attack...?

I just wish the implementation of the theme was smarter, I don't like playing yet another game requiring me to play the same thing over and over with slight changes.

The assets are pretty cool, like the music and the SFX, an the art is quite okay!

Overall a nice project, a bit original too!

Good work!

Oh that is odd...?

It is a known bug that occurs randomly, I am still not sure what causes it but it might be asset loading time out...

Thank you so much, we put a lot of love on the art and narrative, glad it was appreciated!

Thank you for your comment!

Yes I am actually biased towards board games :')

Thank you very much for your comment!

Yet another "play the same level with something different happening" specifically platformer take on the "LOOP" theme. It just becomes sickening.

Otherwise actually a great experience, stunning visuals and story telling and trippy sounds which really tickles my fancy.

The platforming did not feel really great in itself neither.

Good stuff, but really a bit out of the topic. Hopefully better luck next time.

Another instance of playing the same level BUT with a cool spin which I appreciate.

Some things needs better explanations in terms of gameplay elements / tiles,  also memorizing and abstracting the tile layout and player movement is a bit of an ordeal and not that fun at the end of the day.

Maybe the puzzles are a bit hard, I got stuck almost immediately but then again maybe I am too tired / not a puzzle person / dumb.

Cute graphics but the lack of responsiveness from the UI is a bit of a shame.

Nice music and neat sfx, but nothing too special neither.

Overall very interesting game, challenging puzzle, but leaves to be desired in some aspects.

Good work.

I love the theme interpretation, it's refreshing from the games that gives you the same level to play over and over with sometimes a slight change, and on it's own it's really cool design and technical wise.

Amazing yet again refreshing artstyle, and even sfx and music assets are really lovely (no pun intended).

The gameplay loop is cool, a unique puzzle of sorts, satisfying as well yet sometimes challenging, a bit easy on the problem solving aspect (I found the solution pretty much right away on the beginning level) (Maybe it gets harder afterwards but it needs to pick up the pace sooner if it does.)

All in all loved that game, very neat indeed.

Good work to the team.

The theme "LOOP" interpretation leaves to be desired, I wish the game had a more creative way to approach it.

Otherwise the game is really good, especially for a 4 days game jam, there is a looot of features, quality of like elements and juice + feedback.

Good assets, whether it's sounds, music or art, really appreciated all of those.

Interesting backstory, I do like the dialogue (Or what I got to see of it, you want to change the speed and maybe wait for input before going to the next prompt).

The gameplay is cool as well, lot of elements to play with, maybe a bit too much considering the people are not going to play the games for that long, but at least if you do really like the game you have quite a lot of ground to enjoy yourself.

Good stuff, excellent work, just make a better interpretation for the theme next time please :).

I don't see how the "LOOP" theme was implemented in the game, to me the game is pretty much off topic, unfortunately...

The Jump action is by design really annoying and counter intuitive, make it jump by pressing, NOT by releasing please.

The game has some pretty unexplained odd mechanics like the switch (?) square and the color platforms...

Graphics are cute, the sounds are a bit lacking however.

Interesting game, but weak in terms of interpretation.

Good stuff.

About the implementation of the "LOOP" theme, I wish that it was more than just playing the "same" level with extra difficulty.

The physics leaves a bit to desire, perhaps because of the web port, but also because it feels floaty, not so responsive.

Assets are pretty basic, nothing to write home about...

Pretty cool game, just wishing that there's a better interpretation of the "LOOP" theme.

Good stuff!

Made it to level 6 and gave up ;-;

Interesting spin on the play the same level but edit it kind of "LOOP", however I wish I saw a bigger tie to the theme.

The gameplay reminded of "Ultimate chicken horse" which is appreciated, I like building my own levels in games.

Art and SFX wise the game pulls off a decent work!

Very cool building mechanics again, wish there was a stronger implementation of a loop.

Cool project!

Best score is 75 :)

Yes the artwork is really good, got to work with a very talented artist!

Thank you for those kind words :)

Yes the artstyle was pulled of by an amazing artist, props to her!

Yup, the game is definitely lacking some feedback and perhaps juice, but we ran out of time ahah !

Hehe, I do take inspiration from board game mechanics when designing my video games, so it does make sense to say that :)

Yes quite agreed, the game does lack some feedback, perhaps some juice too :')

Thank you, I had the luck of working with really talented people!
