How does your game fit the theme?
The level loops when you complete it, but with added difficulty each time. The game gets progressively harder on each loop, creating a gameplay loop that escalates.

I loved it! my rhythm is shit and it was still enjoyable, so congrats. the voice acting was great and i loved Mr Man, i want him on my shoulder so that i'd be able to hear his opinions and ignore them in real life as well
Woo this was fun and made me smile! thanks for the laughs and the engaging gameplay.
Sense of humour and voice acting definitely 5-star. Got me right on board! Interesting twist with the card shop and great post-production. I admit I found it hard to get into the flow of the gameplay itself. There is something about going to the beat that makes me not want to stop and wait. And that's a sure recipe to collide with red ^^;
WOW it's very good, it's very juicy and I love how well the shots are synchronized with the music, a very good game
An instant favorite. Incredible in every sense. Makes me want to dig through the rest of your profile. I love this game and I love you.
Love the writing and the easthetic. Totally gets you in a certain atmosphere, and I got totally spooked at the end of the first loop. So far didn't make it past the second loop but I enjoyed the writing so much I would intentionally listen until the end of any dialogue I could muster out of this angel character.
The gameplay is where my gripes start however. I think the idea for the controls, the cards and the looping mechanic work well with eachother, but it's not a simple moveset to get used to. When throwing new rules your player won't be familiar with, you have to do your best to ease them into it. The first loop started with obstacles much more ocmplicated to dodge then the ones later on in it, and none of them truly allowed the player to take it all in one by one and adjust to the moveset, nor each of the obstacles on their own. GMTK actually has a video on Mario Maker 2 which can be a useful guiding tool here for the level design for your first loop:
I would also highly advice against stating controls in a game like this exclusively in the description, as I know some players (myself included) like to experience some games blind, without looking at external descriptions.
But despite that, the game's charm, both narratively, visually and musically is enough for me to come back and persist.
Good job, and let's go to the caaaaaaaaaaard shooooooooooooooop

Love how it's rhythm-based, so fun, though it's a bit difficult for me. The menu is so weird and silly in a good way.
Man, this is really really well done. A level loop is not the most creative thing, but the execution is top notch, you could make a full game out of this, my favourite game in the jam so far!
so um yeah mate i kinda liked this game its a kind of nice and interesting game and the visuals were nice and good and fun but the voice acting was super funny and i really liked it i would just say its really charming and its fun also and the gameplay was fun as well but i was just so charmed by the rest that i kinda didnt care that much about it not that it was bad the game was just so funny that i could only think of good it is but take that as a compliment because it is
anyway LETS GO TO THE CAAAAAARD SHOOOOOOP
I loooove this type of humor!!!
Also the music was really great!
I just didn't always understand the effects of all of the cards.
You have my respect for making a solid rhythm-game in such a short time-frame.
hi-fi rush x thomas was alone x geometry wars?? nice. lots of ideas in here that are really working together i think. way to go!
