really relaxing time flying this plane. I love the simulation, being able to look around, and honestly just enjoyed flying around. Really impressive for the short time!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Funny, I think we were playing each others games at the same time based on the comment timeframes haha

Very impressive flight simulator mechanics and creative idea. Drawing is indeed very difficult.

Creative take on the theme, thank god I am not a pilot in real life.

Very pretty, with a good audio, and an interesting concept... but I'm terrible at flying
But for real, this sort of game with very technical controls are always very interesting to me. Very impressive work

this reminds me of these  "repair my car and drive down the road"  games, but with a plane, and drawing this ws fun

I spent a lot of time on this game, it's really beautiful and easy to play after two crashes on takeoff!  :D

This is so polished! I love having to look around my cockpit to click all the buttons mid flight, it's a chaotic fun. Also the island is so intricate, it's very nice!

How did you manage to pull this whole thing off in this small amount of time!?
Just incredible!

One little side note:
Maybe not use ctrl as the decelerate button. while decelerating (ctrl) and pulling up (s) you get  'ctrl+s' which makes my browser always try to save the website and then throws me out of the game.

How you made this in less than a week in insane! Doing loops in the plane was really fun and scary at the same time Well done!

Developer

Thanks! Fun and nerve-wracking was something we were going for so it's good to hear that's being felt

This is very impressive. Nice job.

whoa, the idea is super unique! i find it a little hard keeping track of both the screen and the plane (probably just me though). really great work  yall!

The work you put into this jam is INSANE! Seriously prop to you (guys)! And now I know to never become a pilot :D

Developer

Thank you! We meshed really well together

really great first few moments, then i cant really complete the task. either i suck at flying or the controls suck at controlling

Developer

Probably a bit of both! the controls are hard on purpose :)

This was a really fun use the the theme. Making a 3d flight sim in a game jam is super ambitious and it definitely paid off!

all great done, insane work, i love Pilotwings and i love Skywriter Acadamy, awesome entry.

Engine audio could add a lot of immersion.

Developer

We do have engine audio! Were you playing with sound on?

LOVE THE ART! So cool guys, awesome job

Very impressive and polished for a jam game! The controls were smooth and fun to interact with and the vibe was spot on. Had a bit of a hard time seeing where I was going but that might be why I'm not a pilot IRL :P
