How does your game fit the theme?
Twofold: 1. Fire has the habit of scaling up, unless you take control over it and 2. The playing area is scaling up during the game

Nice game, and interesting take on the theme!
The main feedback I have is that it would be good if the fire was a separate button from the other 2 interactions (say, fire is left-click, while water or village is right-click). I found myself getting frustrated at accidentally clicking trees when I meant to click tribe / water, which is especially easy to do when zoomed out more (which is also when accidental loss feels worse).
Being able to temporarily zoom back in on specific areas might also help with this (say using mouse wheel).
The other thing is that it wasn't clear to me at first the rules for making the water. I realized after that "downhill" in the description meant literally toward the bottom of the screen, but perhaps there would be a way to make this more clear in the game? (or at least say "downhill / toward bottom of the screen" in the description)
Neat concept!! the game is a bit laggy as the view dezoom Watching the fire expand sure is fun (tho it often leads to a game over)
Very interesting concept, I had a lot of fun with this. I read that thi game is playable on the phone which is really nice, this could be a super nice time-killer
Very cool game! Loved the concept and the pixel art as well, a very good vibe! It seems to me that the bigger the map is, the easier the game gets. I understand the link with the jam, but I'm wondering what the game could have been in a more limited space. Nice job nonetheless! :D
Thanks! It indeed gets easier, but mistakes also happen to occur more. It took me a while to beat my own game ;)
I really liked this game! The idea is really creative, and dragons rock! The art is super cool too!
Thanks!
I really like the idea for this game! I just wish there was the ability to zoom and pan on the map, especially for when you get pretty zoomed out. Good job!
Thanks! Details are getting really small indeed on smaller screens, which make it hard to keep click right. Some room for improvement there. BTW: The game is fully playable on a phone, except for the size that is...
Really cool art-style, the hex based tiles look really good. I found it ran a little poorly in the WebGL client, and I couldn't see a downloadable. But maybe thats just my setup. Really nice anyway!
Would be very grateful if you tried our game!
Yeah, I'll add a downloadable when I'm allowed to, so you can enjoy it even more ;)
Interesting game, trying to figure out the best way to section off chunks of land to burn for carbon. Figuring out the controls (specifically how digging works, and that I needed to click on the carbon request box to share it) was a little unintuitive. It would be nice if there was a display with how much carbon you had available, because I would just burn a chunk or two and click on the carbon donation to see if it worked. Also, the game is unfortunately quite laggy.
Thanks for playing. The amount of carbon you have at the moment is at the top, next to the score.
Nice game, but it runs extremely slow in any browser I tested.
Sorry to hear that it is too slow for you. I think the game's speed is more influenced by the hardware than on the browser you play it in. In fact it's a large world to render (you'll notice if you make progress in the game). I hope you can get to the stage that you can burn giant pieces of land.
Make sure that only the visible part of the world is bein rendered/loaded instead of the whole world all the time. That will help performance on any device.
True. The animation of wind-through-the-trees etc. is already only being done only on what's visible, but apparently it wasn't enough ;)
Wow! I love this game. Its such a unique and interesting puzzle game! I love that as the map expands it leaves behind a very intersting pattern of burnt ground. Really really good job!
The fire scaling is an interesting interpretation of the theme! Plus, who doesn't love a dragon?! Do check out our dragon-themed game too :))
Dragons rock! Thanks for playing.
Loved the art style! Found the mechanics a bit confusing though. Great job!
