Cool game-got stuck on the last? puzzle with the two boxes, but otherwise really good take on the theme.
Really unique puzzle concept! The 1 bit art style works great for a simple game like this, I just wish there were a few sound effects, that's the only thing this game is missing.

Playing through it. I noticed that holding down R to restart caused everything to just get progressively slower

If you were to continue you this could you please look at the controls. They made sense but never felt natural. I have no idea how to improve them though.

and yeah the controls are meant to avoid a lot of the unwanted cheese or softlocks which might explain its jankiness. for sure i might create a better control scheme in the future
