How does your game fit the theme?
It's a space shooter where instead of shooting bullets, you're flinging planets at a giant alien mothership!

The game has a really unique art style and design. I also like the sound design, like the dash sound or the sound of the gun. Also, I really liked that you could use the planets to shield yourself from the bullets that were fired towards you. While I was trying to see if shielding from bullets in this way would work I was saying to myself, "I hope this will work," and it did indeed! :)
If I had more time, I would probably add a short tutorial in the game too. And maybe add some effects for when a planet is selected, between the player and the actual object you have grabbed. But the dashed line is cool, too!
I liked the game, congrats!
I'm happy you liked our game! ^_^
The one bit you mention about having the line be between the player and object, as opposed to cursor and object, was actually something that I was wanting lol (I was on art duty, so I wasn't able to implement it @_@)
I love the vibe of this game sooo much. The colors, art, music, conecpt, all of it so cool! The AI ship was really nicely done too. I struggled to figure out the controls though--I think a very brief tutorial or just a slightly longer description of the movement instructions would have been nice for new players! But overall, I really enjoyed this one:)
Thanks! And yeah I agree a tutorial would've helped a ton LOL
Lovely game!! Took me a sec to figure out I could hold onto the planets! A cool concept and well done! The artwork and SFX fit nicely. Also the mothership AI was great
Thank you!! It is a bit unclear the main mechanic is grabbing onto stuff yeah, but I'm still happy you enjoyed it regardless!
Nice! Took me a while to figure out how the game worked, but I finally beat it. The movement controls are a little unintuitive at first but I got used to them. Love to hear old school dnb tracks in gamejam submisisons and the art is stunning as well. Great job!
Thanks! I love hearing compliments about my art ^v^ !!! Also yeah the critique I agree with the most is probably the controls, since you do slip and slide quite a bit LOL
Glad you enjoyed the music :)
Took me a couple tries to beat, but once I had gotten used to the controls it was a joy to play! I would probably add some way to regain your health, as some early mistakes were a pain, but otherwise it's a nice game!
Thanks! Tbf yeah we really could of used some sort of health pickup, especially since the game is a tad bit slippery haha
Wow the feeling is really good, first I had hard time to understand how to play but when I succeed I take really good time, really nice to fly like astro boy and throwing moon in the face of the ennemies !
Yayyy!!! Happy to hear you like our game too! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )
Delighted to hear that you gave our game a chance!
Great level of polish, the controls feel responsive.
Great sound effects, I love the sound of when the asteroids reduce in size.
The visuals are wonderful, soft glow, pleasant colours.
Thanks!! I did the art btw so I'm glad you like it!!!! ^_^
I'm very happy that people are enjoying the sounds I worked on ^v^
Very cute I love the art style
Thanks a bunch! I'm glad people are resonating with my artwork (•ᴗ•)
Love the fast, frantic gameplay and cute art style! I love how the planets crunch together they collide :)
Thank you so much!
