very cool game!  I loved that you saw the entire mountain to start so you could see what you were aiming for.  Loved the use of keyboard and mouse buttons.  cute robot!  great job

Keeping it to the beat is a cool trait to climb to the top of the mountain very nice!

Love the giant scale of your mountain, and the grappling hook-like rhythm mechanic is a very cool idea. The timing window for the rhythm was a little challenging for me and I wished it was a little more forgiving, but I still love the concept.  I also made a music related game for this jam!  Nice work!

Developer

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game and the rhythm mechanic.  I'd love to check out your music-related game too—sounds like we had similar inspirations! Thanks again for playing!

The sections where you connect one node after another are pretty fun! The rythm of the game is also great, but maybe further restricting the keys available to only numbers would be cool (this way you can use the numpad and the player could speed up their inputs while still having to react to which key could be next). Great game!

Developer

Wait... thats actually a very good idea!! Sometimes the pacing is not ideal when having to input a number and letter which are far from each other. Thanks for the feedback!

It was confusing at first, but you easily get the hang of it. I managed to climb the mountain. I don't know what creature the main character is, but I like it.

It can be whatever you want :) (was supposed to be a robot or something haha ). Yeah we would have liked to put in a quick tutorial and some more polish on the art side if we didn't run out of time. Anyways, glad you liked it!

I didnt realize it was a ryhtm game at first so i was really confused, but its quite fun once you know what you're doing
the Ui should've been transparent though

Developer

Glad you found it fun, yes we unfortunately  had to rush the UI and I also just also noticed this issue. Thanks for playing!

Interesting concept. I took a painful fall near the top :D . Great concept, the one thing I missed and I think will be a great tiny addition to the game is  a tutorial . Well done!

Developer

Agreed, we would have really liked to be able to squeeze a small tutorial section in it, but we ran out of time hehe. Thanks for playing!

This was really fun! I was able to make it all the way to the top after getting the hang of the controls. It reminded me of GIRP by Bennet Foddy but with a rhythm aspect.

Developer

Thanks, glad you liked it! Yes GIRP is a classic and was a big inspiration for the game

The pun on "built to scale" had me laughing not gonna lie.
