Pretty good game. It felt a bit harsh to me. I only ever got 1 or 2 parts before dying.
It definitely is harsh. There were a bunch of features that we just didn't have time to add in because we had overscoped the project. A learning experience for all of us. I appreciate you playing!
"Harsh", from the person who made "Mona Lisa Builder" 😉 I thought your game was brilliant btw
Haha yeah mine was more of a joke than a game.
Great Idea, sort of a "Papers Please" for a robot assembly line. I'd love to see it expanded!
I'm happy you got the reference. The way this was pitched to our team was literally "Papers Please but with robots". We are thinking about expanding it and continuing it past the jam :)
Really cool concept man, I just find it a tad to hard on hetting the pieces to right size. I know you have the manual and the ruler but is hard to approximate it when the ruler is not leveled with the pieces. Other than that great visuals and sfx, solid entry.
I would really appreciate it if you checked out my game :)
No, totally. We had a bunch of features planned that would help aid / assist the player but we realised pretty late that we had overscoped the game sadly. I appreciate you playing!
I totally get you man, same thing happened to me, overscoped and had to compromise some things that would’ve made the game more easy for the player.
Really fun concept. I love having the manual to reference. I do wish there was some more feedback when you get a part wrong. Something that says "too small" or "too large". Or even where a part that's somewhat close but not exactly correct will pass, but effect your final score. Having everything be all or nothing with no feedback makes it pretty challenging. I like the concept a lot though. It would be cool to see the idea extended with some wacky scales or parts to make it even more challenging!
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing! We are talking about expanding it and working on it past the jam :)
Fun stuff friend!
I like the concept.
The game is not easy, but I managed to complete it on my seconds attempt. The trick was to make everything smaller than I thought was right lol. I think having the manual and real scale at different sizes is a good choice, it forces you to reference the parts in relation to the individual scales instead of just making them look equally as big in both views.
Overall a great implementation of the theme!
Thank you! I think the problem that people have been facing is that the target scale is set differently than the sprite size, but the in game scale may be slightly off from the manual one, which is why you need to make things smaller than you would expect. We appreciate the feedback!
I am absolutely terrible at this. I could not get a single one right D:
This is definitely one of the more creative takes on the theme that i've played. Having this perspective with the manual on the bottom right is surprisingly immersive. Visuals and sound are on point.
It needs some work but i think this could go somewhere.
Thanks for leaving a wonderful comment on our game :)
We appreciate you taking the time to check it out and leave feedback! There's definitely some balancing and tweaking that needs to happen, but in the lead up to the deadline, we were mostly focusing on having something to be able to submit.
Game looks great and I like the scaling sounds.
Really tough to play though, and frustrating that the manual scale is different to the real scale.
Yeah, it definitely has some balancing issues. Thank you for your feedback tho. Our audio designer really nailed it.
