My life kept going down, even though nothing made it through? And my guys were shooting somewhere off screen, making me think maybe something spawned up there that was causing my life to go down. Not sure what was causing that ^^;
The shop icons are a stretched and block the prices for some of the items. I wish there was a better explanation of what towers did before I bought them. Good music and artwork!
Thank you! We downloaded a free art pack (credited on the main screen), but I made the music myself 😁
The buy screen on the right had the bottom two cover up the prices of the top two and the floor thing was not very easy to understand. also it seems weird that the boss would just eat up health as it moved. beyond that, it's a pretty serviceable tower defense
Fun game, even if it took a good while to realize how the floors mechanic worked. I will say it has a bit of "tier 1 tower spam" problem, where I could solve every floor just spamming a handful of archers by the chokepoints. Still, solid entry.
Thanks for your encouraging feedback! Haha yeah you're right, I appreciate that you played our game long enough to find that balance issue! I've replayed it many times and enjoyed trying to find the minimum amount of money I can possibly spend while still reaching infinite endgame. Eventually, you need some AOE and the archers don't cut it, but they're super strong for the first few minutes!
didnt work on my mac/trackpad
The tower defense elements are fun, but the whole screenshifting thing is a bit unintuitive.
I think I went infinite and got to the point where the game stops scaling up the waves. Lol pretty fun, it's true that maybe a better indication of how you need to access the other rooms would help. I liked the tower types you had and for a bit it was pretty hectic.
That's really encouraging to hear that you played our game long enough to reach that point! Totally agreed, we didn't budget enough time to create good intuitive user explanations and that's probably our biggest takeaway for next year 👍🏼 But very glad you had fun playing it, as I have!
Definitely a fun little game. Had issues with completing the level though. Life seemed to run out in a weird way. Cool tower defense system! A little more feedback on the towers themselves and how they're working or who they're targeting would be a nice improvement.
