I think the game is relatively easy to understand, and pretty damn fun when you do, it just REALLY lacks a tutorial. It led to some confused gameplay.
Here's my personal notes while playing, after reading the description as well (which doesn't really clear things up)

When do I lose a round?
- When I pass (because I can't play any cards
- When my opponent's hand is empty, I lose automatically

When do I win a round?
- When my opponent passes
- When my hand is empty

When can I play cards?
- When there's more cards than the amount of cards on the table
- When there's the same amount of cards on the table, but a higher value
- NOT when the value is higher, but the amount of cards is lower
- I seem to be able to play pairs and straights, but I also managed to play a 3 with a 5 once, idk how. And I could play a full house (3,3,3,2,2) while it doesn't mention these options in the description?
- Whenever I play anything, I automatically play as much as possible

(Anything I missed?)

Besides a tutorial, I also really miss any indication on what's going on, I have no idea when a round ends other than that I get more cards in my hand.

In any case I had fun, the way the cards move is satisfying, and the rules aren't that frustratingly difficult, they're just difficult (without the frustrating part)

I'm not super sure how to play, but I really like just looking at it. The art style is lovely

Man, this game's got good potential but the onboarding is basically a brick wall. I played a couple rounds and felt confused and frustrated the whole time, and that's after reading the entire description with how to play it. I didn't even realize what deck was the player's until my second run. I was never sure if I was doing something wrong or if I just sucked at strategizing.

It's kind of a shame, given it's very clever and unique and I like the style of it. Still, it's a good game, it's just really rough around the edges.

Tough game, but it's got a lot of potential! If it could be tutorialised a bit better then this could be super addictive! Nice work!!

impressive work! a tough game though. does the computer always play the most optimal moves? because I for sure didnt!

The opponent always plays the weakest hand it’s allowed to. We had plans to make the opponent’s AI smarter - for example, have it always clear its hand if it can, or try to play more cards in one play than the player has in their hand, to force the player to pass. Seems like people are finding the game difficult enough to pick up as is, so maybe it’s for the best that we ran out of time :p

Cool game! It made me feel pretty stupid at first, haha.

Cool game, difficult to work out the best strategy

Looks like a cute card game, unfortunately there are no sounds - the game does not teach how to play it (I read the description with the rules, but maybe someone will ignore it) it is also difficult to build some kind of tactics - I just threw a combination and the opponent almost always had it better

Anyway, congrats on finishing a game!

We never added sounds in the end because a lot of card games don't have them but it would have been nice to get a shuffle in.
