One of my favourite game I've played so far! Really polished and a aesthetic with just a couple of elements and colours. Good job!
I love fact that the scale of time constantly change, make you feel more focused on gathering withe sphere or destroying anti-matter depending on the situation.
I had some trouble just with a couple of thing. The matter/antimatter ratio is a bit unbalanced imho. Especially when the scale goes up, there are too many antimatter spheres that slow your progress down. Also, I would like to gather the sphere not by clicking directly on them, but with some sort of syphon effect. This is kind necessary in the late stage, when the small sphere are hard to directly aim. Another stuff I'd like to see is to spawn bigger sphere directly, to also speed up the pace of the game.
Overall, amazing game! Thank you for submitting!
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! I definitely agree that spawning some larger particles in the late game would help with the pacing and that the antimatter to matter ratio could be balanced better in the different environments. I understand the need for a more generous drag radius especially at larger scales, and a gravity effect around the mouse could be a cool way to implement that.
I really like the clean visuals and simple game-play. Together with the satisfying sound design it makes this a really enjoyable game. Good job!
Nice idea to be honest. This has a lot of potential for lore. Keep working!
Interesting concept for a game that can help kill time in between activities. It's even more interesting if it's designed for young children, it can really help their motoric skills.
nice idea and art, it’s just a bit infuriating when you get to the end because antimatter is a bit too powerful, and you have to take care of the biggest mass as well as forming another one, which is near impossible when you are in a high velocity period
Totally valid criticism, the warm environments combined with the late game can be brutal. One suggestion from another player was to give health to larger particles which might alleviate that struggle. I appreciate you playing the game and taking the time to leave your feedback!
the art is simple yest charming, nice work.my games art is kinda bad
So simple but so compelling! It created some very real but fun frustration having to juggle everything!
Glad you enjoyed the game. Thanks for playing!
Really enjoyed this game, nice simple style, interesting concept. Was thinking if there was some gravity mechanic it would be even more fun!
Thanks for playing! I definitely toyed with the idea of each particle having its own gravitational field, the mouse having a gravitational effect, and/or random objects floating through space having some effect on everything momentarily. Ultimately, I decided against it due to the time constraints and keeping the scope small, but it would definitely add another layer of interest!
Hey! Nice job!
I liked that it was both a 2048-ish build-it-up kind of thing and also an arcade-y bullet-hell/asteroids-esque thing. Definitely a fun time, and tragically frustrating when your huge circle gets bombarded with little red ones and collapses back all the way down.
Thanks for playing! 2048 was definitely a major inspiration.
Absolutely love this game! It combines the thrill of incremental progress with frantic position-based management. It feels great to play too with all the vfx work that's gone into it. It would be nice if each level of star had a unique sprite but the minimalist look also suits it really well. Very stressful and satisfying!
Thanks for taking the time to play my game. Im glad you enjoyed it! I considered adding some unique symbol on each particle size for accessibility purposes. Maybe I’ll add it in a future release. Great idea!
Its a nice little game but oh boy does it get hectic at the end, especially when time speeds up. I barely managed to survive haha.
Haha, glad you were able to experience the intensity of the end game. Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback!
I love the changing time scale/game speed aspect. It adds a level of difficulty I haven't seen in these types of games. It's fun to have to consider if I want to combine small orbs now so I have less to manage when it gets busy or do I want to save them so I have something to use to defend myself! Feels almost like taking on waves enemies.
Thanks for playing and for your feedback! Im happy to hear it made you consider a more in-depth strategy. It definitely gets tricky to protect your larger particles in those warm environments.
super addictive!
Thanks!
