How does your game fit the theme?
Ordinarily, loading screens are fairly static, just to show the player that something is happening while the game loads in assets. In this game, the role of the loading screen is reversed and now the game takes place within loading screens.

Great idea! Really wish there was more!

I love the attention to detail in the loading screens. I wish there was more. Gameplay-wise there's not a lot going on, though. Good work on this; a post-jam extended version would be interesting to see.

I love it, I want more!!

That was unique. I wish I could play more.

Fun idea, I like how the ui is part of the gameplay

I quite enjoyed the idea of having to play while in the loading screen. I also liked that you had different UI elements end up coming alive or becoming part of the map platforms!

Fantastic Game Sire!
The back and forth is great. Loved the jumping and heart attack after getting the loading bar.  unfortunate it wasonly 48hours, the dialogue is top notch

Charming short game, love the double jump / flip.

Hahaha, when getting the second piece of the bar and the green loading screen popped up I was genuinely waiting for like 10 seconds before I realized it was all a trick! Great stuff!

Oh shit the hearts are after me! Cool concept, but a bit on the short side. Wished the progress bar would attack me after I restored it!

Developer

Yeah, we had initially planned to have 5-6 levels at least, and then the deadline snuck up on us! We have a long list of things we wanted to do, but this morning was a real rushfest to just try and get what we had so far finished and shipped in time.

loved the art and running animation. i did get stuck on second screen (when the hearts fly towards you) and couldn't jump anymore but really like the concept :)

Developer

Thanks! The bug is interesting though, where did you get stuck?

Submitted

On top of the third character, inbetween its hands / on its head.

Developer

Ohhh, yep! It looks like that's an error with the collision shape - Darn! At least it works most of the time, heh

I'd love to play it but ... on the construct loading bar my entire browser freezes.

I'm on a mac, any ideas?

Developer

"on the construct loading bar"? Sorry, not super sure what you mean there - I also don't have a mac to test with, sorry

Submitted

The main loading bar before the game (not the deliberate one I don't think...?) - I just assumed the engine was Construct 2 because of the shape of the bar.

Developer

It was built in Godot, never heard of Construct 2 sorry - In any case, if it's not loading in your browser at all, perhaps try another browser? Sorry, I've got no ideas

Submitted

Tried it in Firefox, now it just crashes. Oh well, probably an issue with my PC. Sorry for wasting your time.

Submitted

Ok, this is happening for me for all Godot games, not just yours (so it's not an issue). Sorry for the trouble...
