I really loved the concept of this game, but I ran into a repeated bug where the bird didn't seem to accept the letter, and I was at a loss as to how to continue from there. Let me know if you post a bug-fixed game after ratings end; I'd love to play that! :)
I really like the art on this one a lot, the style is cool and I really liked the main menu change with the music, very cool. Unfortunately I also had the bug where I could not turn in my quest to the bird so I couldn't progress with the game. From my guesses on how things were going though it looked like it would have been a cool story game.
I streamed here:
Yeah I really don't know what could be causing that bug unfortunately... I've tried playing through multiple times and never encountered it...
My guess is when I press space it's triggering something like DropObject(); instead of InteractWithBird(); -- if it's a race condition between them your computer might just be hitting InteractWithBird(); faster than the rest of us, and we're all hitting DropObject(); . If it's a race condition it can seem kind of random like that.
Usually when I have something hard to reproduce like this I go back to the related code and talk out loud and read one line at a time to make sure the logic makes sense. They're some of the most annoying bugs to fix lol
Hi! We've uploaded a new web version of the build, that version should have the bug fixed if you want to try it!
Very cute concept, nice gameplay but a little buggy (I dont blame you) I was stuck trying to give the bird the items but I couldn't so I didn't know what to do. The main menu is very funny I didn't expect it to switch like that haha, nice music choice and good controls, well balanced so it's not too hard or easy to hide from the guards. Great job!

Blue card is fixed, but flower pot isn't it keeps making me drop it down instead of delivering to the bird.
Very nice. Like the music, the art, and the general theming. Had a fun time with the hide, grab, and run gameplay. Sadly, I couldn't figure out how to progress. The bird wouldn't take my blue letter, which I imagine is what I should be doing. I did bring him everything I could find, though. Wish I could have kept playing, would love to see it refined and expanded upon.
Glad you liked the game! though sorry you encountered a bug like that when you played it >~<

Quite hard, I didn't understand what to do with the items and where to go
Cool art though!
If you walked past the window with the bird on your way out, it will ask you to bring certain items to it. And then you just have to click spacebar to interact!
Yeah, I had a hunch, but couldn't find the letter that the bird asked for
It was downstairs in the library, so long as you managed to sneak past the guards
