The game has an interesting idea. The graphics can improve but they are not bad either. Good job for the game jam.

Interesting concept! It was very challenging and fun to solve, I had a lot of fun with this.

To be honest I've seen veggie quest before and I was reminded of it when I saw the theme. Even though the concept is the same as veggie quest, I feel the way it was explored here is very creative and well fleshed out! By varying the movement pattern and forcing the player to return to the start, it creates many different, interesting puzzles. The geometry of the game is really elegant and the patterns I draw on the board often fall into place instead of looking arbitrary.

The presentation of the game too is great, I really like the small player/goblin icons which show which squares are reachable by either creature. Really really helps with visualizing the board.

Cool concept, the changing patterns kept me thinking  ! I struggled a little to understand why sometimes I couldn't save the precious, maybe I missed something ? Nice entry !

Thanks for the feedback!

You cannot save precious when there is no path (respecting the current moves) either to it or back from it. That is the only case.

Very enjoyable puzzles, I like the completionist aspect of having a max set of moves possible. It'd be nice to have a way to be able to tell the priority their moves have, although it can be deduced from playing the level

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback!

Their moves are not based on priority. They choose their moves in a way to get to the goal and back as fast as possible.

Ahh that makes sense!  Priority being fastest path possible. having fun with this,  still not done but level design is great, challenging and fun puzzles :)

Pretty nice game!

I like how it plays with the moves gimmick! Not exactly my type of puzzle games, but I definitely can see someone enjoying it!

Art is nice to look, and music is calming, perfect for a puzzle game like this.

Good job!

A very nice puzzle game :)! I like how open-ended it is as well – I got 35 on the fifth level and wouldn't be surprised if more was possible. If you ever solve these levels with a computer, I'm curious about your findings. Nicely done!

Very nice game on the concept of designing a level for the game to play. The mechanic is pretty intuitive and the idea over all is pretty neat!

It was a really nice game to play! Pretty great take on theme. Some movements were a little bit unintuitive for me at first, however after playing with different paths and trying to optimize I ended up having a lot of fun.

Edit: I forgot to add that art is pretty nice too

Thanks for the feedback!
Well, that is basically the point of this game. Start with an unfamiliar/unintuitive system at each level and try to make sense of it by poking it around. You can reach the goal when you become familiar enough.
