Interesting concept. I found the controls to be a bit weird and the game was a bit dark, but quite fun nevertheless.

Looks really great, but is a bit dark(in the browser version), and I don't really know what I'm doing, but I really looks cool. Good Job
I like the whole game! The little ball that comes to hit you. Very cool. I thought everything was well polished. I felt this game could've been on Steam before it came to this jam! GG! I enjoyed this whole game! If you have time, could you come rate our game?
Kinda love that the environment is only lightened by the glowing objects and player himself, setting a unique tone.
I really liked the art style, the concept and the music. For me it was only payable in full screen and the even there things like the health points appeared cropped. Also it would have been a bit better if after death the character didn't spawn at the beginning of the game but my guess is that there wasn't enough time to develop this stuff :) .Good effort overall!
Very nicely done - it's just sadly way to dark on my screen to see anything around that spike ball - also the resolution of the overlay did't match and I could not see all the hearts
I quite like the art, and nice job making your own sound! A bit hard to see at times and somewhat buggy; the camera doesn't shift after killing the first enemy and the resolution didn't look right on my computer. Controls are a bit hard to use, the character slides more than I'd like. It would also be nice if dying respawned you at that level instead of the start of the game. The art style is really sweet though and I love the tune!
I'd appreciate it if you check out my game too if you have a minute!
Great take on the theme of the jam! The controls feel really great, but just a little dark.
While the restarting from the beginning every time is going to stop me from actually finishing this game, what I've seen of it is really solid! The controls feel fantastic, the individual rooms are solid challenges, and the enemy variety is impressive for 48 hours! Definitely great work overall - would love to see a polished-up version of this after the jam!
The game is great and looks very good but starting over and over again when you died was a bit frustrating. The music was good and the ambientation was very well done. Good work!
Some things:
- It's very dark and I can barely see anything.
- A checkpoint would be nice at some point because I can't even manage to get the key to the door.
- I will say I do appreciate that a message popped up when I got to the door saying "Find Key" because I would have probably been confused otherwise, but probably because it was too dark to see that it was a locked door.
- Invincibility frames are too short or non-existent -- I'll often get hit multiple times from the same action.
But otherwise good job. Besides being too dark, it aesthetically looks pretty good, and it controls decent too, with already different enemy types with unique attacks and unique hazards all around. It's definitely pretty difficult to make a Metroidvania-type game in 48 hours, so I commend the ambitious undertaking, even if some things can be polished out.
