Ooooooo super cool interpration of joining things together! GMTK made a joke about joining enemies with bullets not being a very original interpretation of the theme. But it totally works here! Oh yeah, and the art totally rocks

Developer

Thank you!! I worked super hard on the art, I'm pretty proud of it c:

I saw Mark actually play another game with a very similar mechanic on the followup stream, and he loved it! I was really hoping he'd see ours as well.

found it a bit confusing at first, but it surprised me once i got it. nice take on the theme!

Wow this game is awesome smashing the ball like others said feels really satisfying to do. Pretty nice art style aswell. Congrats on submitting your game! Would love it if you would check out my submission :)

I love the aesthetics of this game. It's so satisfying to smash a ball into the enemies and then they all explode. A bit short, but I see you are planning to add features which is always fantastic to hear from people about their game jam game.

Developer(+1)

First time smashing the explosives into a crowd was when we all sat there and went "Oh, we're really on to something!"

It's so much fun :D we can't wait to work on this more!

Took me a second to figure out how the game actually played, but the tethering to kill stuff mechanic is pretty cool. I also love your art style for this, very pleasing on the eyes!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I'm super proud of the art for this, I'm definitely going to expand on it for the future. We really wanted to create a tutorial, but unfortunately, you know how jams go - not enough time!

Nice graphics and gameplay. I would recommend to find a way to retrieve items next to the wall and maybe smooth the enemy pop up, not all at once but maybe increase as soon I solve the puzzles.

Developer(+1)

We're planning for both - glad you liked it! :D

I did! Good luck!

The game looks incredible and sounds great! The mechanic is quite fun and has a lot of potential. I see you already have a lot planned for the future, which is awesome! One thing I noticed: The camera seems to not be pixel perfect, there are small lines appearing between the tiles, Should be quite easy to fix though, hopefully!

Developer

Our sound designer was awesome! We have even more music ready to go too c:

We knew about the camera, but we were running into some bugs with it when we turned on the pixel perfect camera, and it caused some severe stuttering, so not entirely sure what was happening. Now that the jam's over, we'll be taking the time to play with it a bit and work out the kinks :D

Thanks for checking it out~

also make sure you download the .zip version, since the .rar doesnt work as of now

Developer(+1)

Rar version has been hidden, should be just the zip now!
