How does your game fit the theme?
This year’s GMTK game jam theme was playing with the idea of being “joined together” — well, in gaming, what is more emblematic of two things being joined together than the gamer and their avatar on screen? “No Exit” is about this connection — what happens when the avatar becomes aware of this connection, and what happens when this connection breaks?

I enjoyed playing this, definitely impressive that you came up with such a good story in such a short time! A couple of tiny suggestions-- I think it'd be nice if the text moved a little faster and if the viewing window were a bit larger. Having to move to the scroll roll occasionally just felt a little odd.
Really loved the interpretation of the theme, too, haven't seen any other games that interpreted it as the tie between the player and the character!
It was interesting to play. Great idea and good mechanics! Good job!
Please check my game as well ;)
How where you be able to make such a interesting story with actual human characters in 48 hours is beyond me, I wish the text were a little bit faster tho
Really really really cool, did not see that coming, very nice. Maybe have the text appear a bit faster, I often waited for the next sentence to popup which kinda took me out of the whole thing, but this really a small complaint to a great game, nice job <3
I really liked your writing style, the dialogues flow naturally, which is really hard to do in just 48 hours (some games can't do it even in years :D). The twists surprised and the last moment was unique, good job!
This was an interesting journey. Well done!
Wooow. This is my favorite game so far this year. I did not know what to expect at all and the further I got into the story, the more intrigued I was. It was just so great. Loved the ending. Well done.
I was surprised at first but the more a played the more your story intrigued me! Maybe with a background music/noise it would have been nicer.
Well done!
Hm interesting game, I like the concepts of breaking the connection, and the text based game is pretty fun too. Well done!
