How does your game fit the theme?
The game let's the player select two objects, including a representation of himself, to bind them to each other. The joined entities are linked together, which means they share there attributes and each influence to one entity are automatically transmitted to the other. Likewise the force has to be able to influence both objects, which f.e. allows the player to defy gravity by chaining himself to an object on the ground.

The presentation is amazing! Love the aesthetic and textures you included, it makes it look very interesting. The mechanic and puzzles are also very unique and I really liked figuring out how to best use them.

Not sure if you plan on perfecting the game at some point, but there is a minor glitch in the character animation when it grabs an object if you look at the character's face.

Visuals are super cool really liked the "miniature model cardboard" style.
The Controls and colliders tho it's not there yet.

Also it was kind of hard for me to understand the whole link between souls, the paper esthetic, the starting from the bed. I would have loved to get a bit more of the background or story while playing.

I guess maybe for a gamejam it is a nice to bring the story kind of fast since people are not playing the games for a very long time.

Again, I really liked the visuals and atmosphere.
I was just all along missing the point on why I was linking/moving theses objects in a beautiful environment when it could be random objects that doesn't look as good.
It would have been awesome  to get better all the paper/soul background.

Amazing visuals and an interesting idea. Loved the statues that linked objects to your character, that was a neat mechanic.  Control and/or collision was a little tricky but overall pretty cool game.

the concept of game is superb but i don't understand how jump should work i passed two level without using it.
game doesn't run smoothly which could be fixed by adding graphics settings.
To lunch game i needed to rename GMTK-GameJam-2021_Data to Soul Linker_Data.
