A very slick and fun platformer! I really enjoyed the sound design, visuals, and general feeling of the movement in this game. The mechanic was also really well done and quite cute :) I feel the dialogue really added a nice level of polish over everything!
I did one one issue where I accidentally dropped Krawly and went back a level and when I returned he was just gone for the rest of the game. I'm feeling this probably wasn't supposed to happen
Great game though and very good job!
Thanks Zombie!
The game feels great. A platformer that's easy to learn and hard to master. I would know because I definitely didn't get all the pizza slices
Thanks so much!
Such an incredible platformer! The people demand more! Really clever mechanic, and the levels were a great combination of puzzle + platforming. One minor nitpick, would've been nice to have W to jump as well. But great work! The art is adorable.
Thanks for playing, Amruth!
Really, and I mean really satisfying platformer! The artstyle is just beautiful!
Simple and also unique in its own way, I'm glad I found this game!
Thank you :)
Great concept for a platformer and nice puzzles. The art style fits the game. Congrats!
Thanks for playing!
Really nice game. The graphics are great, the platforming mechanic is actually really unique, which is an accomplishment. I got all 7 pizzas! Well done!
Thank you.
Really cool! I like it. The idea is really interesting, and the graphics are also nice to look at. ~ Do check mine and give your valueable feedback:D
Thanks a lot Ash! I'll definitely check it out!
Very nice concept! I had a lot of fun playing, though it was a bit hard for me. The visuals and the sounds are great. Good job!
Thank you for playing!
I had fun with this!
It looks great, and attaching/popping the second character felt great (especially since I didn't have to press a button for it).
For some reason I feel like this could turn into a metroidvania. I think backtracking for the first pizza is what did it. I tried to backtrack for the second pizza too, thinking it was impossible for the 2 characters and that I might get a 3rd, and was sad to find out coming back later actually locked the pizza away from me.
But yeah, good job, I enjoyed this!
Thank you for playing! Also, yes. Originally i wanted to make a metroidvania and there were going to be multiple characters with different abilities, but time got in the way.
Pizza! <3
I like the ninja turtles pizza concept!
Thanks a lot Space Dodo!
Like the concept .. me and pizza always together.. good job on finishing the game.
Thank you :)
very cute game and another interesting take on the "control two characters" concept. smooth, nice looking, and contains an adorable wink-wink moment in the end :) looking forward to seeing your progress on this!
Thank you for playing!
I love it! Finished it, and then played it again to get all the pizza. Very original, nice level design, nice music, and the platforming controls are smooth. Great choice of sound effects too (the disconnect & jump sound!). The art is a bit basic, but if this is a one person job, I totally understand. I'd play it again if you add more content!
...if I'm really nitpicky: there's one level where the ceiling spike is kind of behind the UI. I jumped into that 3 times. >:-( But probably I'm just dumb. :-) And there should be a little more leeway in the spike hit tests: one pixel overlap is already a kill, when there's no visual overlap yet.
Thanks so much for playing and for the great feedback! You're right about those spikes. I noticed that after I had already submitted it.
Slick platformer with an interesting and original twist. Reminds me a lot of The End Is Nigh and the old 8bit game Head Over Heels, but it's not a clone of either.
Controls are great, but I'm afraid it's too hard for me. I didn't get far in The End is Nigh either!
I did love that you are free to explore on most of the screens, without collecting the pizza. Lets me see more of the content, and makes the game a lot more approachable.
Thank you. Yeah, I like the idea of letting players choose their own difficulty level.
@atolbertsmith I have played many different mechanic games but this one is something different it feels well stable it's just something about this, music was also good with the game, also there the smoothness of the controls was just right, I think you should make a more polished version of the game after the jam, great work :D
I may do that. Thanks Garuda!
It's great how well how everything flows together. Fantastic game and would love to see more
Thank you for playing!
Just a really solid platformer centered around a great mechanic, a fun art style, charming characters, and some good level design. Some of the spike hit boxes are perhaps a bit generous / wonky, but, really, that's about the only criticism I have for it, other than of course wanting more levels haha XD Great work!
Thanks for the quality feedback Phenix!
Man, what's not to like about this one? Cohesive artstyle, nice music, tight platforming with some puzzle elements, and a fun core mechanic. Awesome work :)
Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out.
Very fun, well designed platforming puzzles!
Thank you so much!
