what a wonderful game. took me a few tries to get the hang of it. loved the art. I shall wake up in the middle of the night from now on haunted by dio bones.
What a scary game! It was actually kinda fun, but you could perhaps add some animations and stuff to make it more interesting :)
The voice is so cool!!
Thank you for submitting such an awesome game XD. I loved how you made your game is unique in how it does horror. The story is well done(show not tell), the game play was smooth and well-fleshed out. However, my game freeze when I entered the yellow room for some reason. Besides that I had an blast playing your game from start to finish ;)
I gave you a lot of feedback during the stream, but just to summarize. Great concept, one of the few entries with more mood/storytelling. Would have been fun to play if it was not for the rough controls and mouse shaking. Some other parts also felt a bit slow, like the vine shooting and growing. Some animations could have made it more alive too
So stressful! The mood is perfect! Loved it!
Mouse go shakey shakey lol
Anyway, I'm impressed with how you made an enemy that actually knows how to navigate rooms and get around walls and not get stuck (I'm talking about myself).
Vine everything up, it can't get me!
neat idea, spooked me pretty well the first time but it lacks some staying power. I liked the ability to hit the monster with the vines from around corners!
I like the idea, it's kind of a horror theme. The view distance is a nice touch because you never know where he is coming from and that helps build tension. However, I felt that the lever timer was too slow(maybe I'm missing something but it took me ages)
Thanks so much for the review! I'm glad you liked the horror vibe.
Yea the lever speed was fine for my mouse sensitivity, but play testing since then from others makes me think it should be a lot faster and on spacebar or something instead of the mouse.
I'll be sure to check out Worm Warp as well.
Nice game. This would do well as a horror game.
Thanks! I've always wanted to try 2D horror so this was a fun experiment for sure.
On my way to check out pigments now.
