Awesome concept! Diving system is such a cool idea!
Loved this ambience and the duotone art style.
I wished to encounter something like a shark or a manta ray (or maybe i missed them?)
The only thing i think that could help is some kind of a visual hints while above surface to guess where we should stop the air balloon. Anyway this is a great entry!

Developer

Thanks, there are some sharks and we did have visuals for the boundaries of the world but they didn't make it in. Glad you liked it.

Was really fun to explore and i love the limited viewpoint and that the jellyfish have their own light! Having a way of seeing that you're moving around would be nice (maybe a coordinates thing when you're above) would love to see a fleshed out game!

I really enjoyed the focus on the exploration and the atmosphere of the game. I did lose myself sometimes when trying to get air but I guess that's how the sea is! haha, good job!!

Developer

Thank you. I'm happy you enjoyed it.

This game has a clever central mechanic - would love to see it developed with some level design. The mechanic of moving the air supply around is a little obscure as it stands, but the exploration is fun.

The game is super beautiful, and the idea is very creative! But I didn't quite understand what I was supposed to do... I would put some more details in the instructions. But other than that, good job :)

Thank you.

I absolutely love this art style, I cant believe how much detail you were able to convey with such a limited color palette. The devil is in the details, the different sprites for when the character turns around 360 degress to follow the mouse really made me realize how much details you put into this creation.

Incredible job, I accidentally threw my harpoon out of the game bounds and now im just staring at it completely sad. I thoug going back to the ship would restore it but no.

Other than that little bug the game is really cool, looking forward to see what else you create in the future.

Thank you for the kind words. This is probably the nicest thing anyone has said to us about one of our games. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Love the presentation and design. I also like the different colour options. Really unique concept, overall a very enjoyable well polished game.

The aesthetic is amazing, great presentation.  This really reminds me of the old Pokemon games, like we get to dive into the water that we used to have to swim on.

I think I get stuck around the boundaries a few times without realizing it.  Some way of showing the boundary would be nice.

In any case, great job!

I'm glad you liked it. We did put in an animation of the air line getting tight but I guess it could of been more obvious maybe a dotted line around the area would've helped. Thanks for the feedback

Very original idea and the art is amazing, but it took some time for me to figure out what to do, if you plan to continue developing would be good to add an arrow to indicate the Buoy direction and maybe you can make that you can only find the big treasure after you open some minor ones or get a key, because it was spawned very near me in my second try XD

Developer

I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the ideas.

Nice idea! And great sound design too. It controls really well and it's fun to move around underwater, but I would've liked some sort of indication when I got too far away from the buoy on the surface aswell. But overall, great job!

I love the art style, and I love that you provided the ability to change the colours. The sound design is great! If I was to make a suggestion going forward, it would be to implement instructions on what the player should be doing or provide an overall goal. The mechanics you have are great (especially that harpoon gun mechanic!), but it is unclear what the player should be doing.
