Nice job! The moss graphics were awesome and the gameplay was good! Well done. :)
Thanks so much!
Thanks for making it! If you want you can try https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/699090
looks cute. A hint: Don't use Z or Y in your control scheme. A lot of keyboards have the z and y key swapped, making games like these hard to play :(
The moss growing looks awesome, and so does the explosion effect. It was pretty fun just blowing stuff up until I could get through. If you added some punchy sounds and screen shake, this would feel really great to play!
Check mine out and drop a rating, if you have the time :)
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I definitely agree about the need for sound effects and screen shake, I'll be adding that in the post-jam version.
BTW I played yours, that was awesome. Great concept, lots of unique and interesting puzzles, so much polish, just wow.
Great, looking forward to that version. And thanks!
Cute looking game! wish it had audio though. I like the shooting animation. Nice!
Thanks! Yeah, I'll have to add audio in my post-jam version, that would be a major improvement.
I'll be waiting, BTW could you check out my game. Any feedback would be super helpful
Very cool! The fungus physics are super interesting. I think being able to break the whole building makes it a bit too easy and removing that would give it great potential as a challenging puzzle game!
Thanks! It actually wasn't intended as a puzzle game, but I see how the fungus physics and movement mechanics kind of created that kind of play style. That's a good idea, I should use more of the indestructible wall type that surrounds the map in the actual level. I bet it would be more fun as a puzzle if the fungus was a little more predictable, too.
