The sounds effects are top notch lol. Pretty good concept and art, although the snake does look a little glitchy for some reason. Overall, good job!

At first the sound was muted during my first playthrough, but then I saw the audio and turned it up, looooool I loved the ahhhhhhhh when getting hit by the eagles!! Might have become my favorite sound effect of the jam! I liked the idea of the bigger map and the obstacles like the eagles (though I started to just go after them for the sound!) A few more different elements would have been nice, maybe for the sequel with more great voice sound effects!

Concept seems ok, just need to be more evolved (probably because of the jam time limit). Maybe more random stuff and better feedback to the player of what's happening will help. Also, try a smaller map and bigger assets. The pattern on the background seems unnecessary and gives a bit too much noise to the visuals.

I had a lot of ideas but haven't had enough time, I tried having a smaller map but it was too chaotic and the game was whey faster then what I wanted it to be.

It's not a bad snake game. I like the idea behind the birds taking away your tail since it sets up a nice balance between getting longer and being pressured to become shorter again. Not sure why the snake looks so glitchy or what the apples really do. Also controls flipped at one point but I wasn't sure why

the flipped controls are intentional,  the blue apples will make you longer but will take your points, the purple apples will give you more points but will summon two more birds instead of one, the red apple is the regular one.

haven't had enough time to write this somewhere in the game, I submitted 12 minutes before the deadline.
