Awesome platformer!

The jumping/physics feel really good, the animation is nice and fluid, graphics are simple but fit well, and the checkpoints are very much appreciated.

I like the self-harm mechanic that takes away health if you use the wrong keys but not sure it’s used to the fullest; all it seems to do is restart you from the checkpoint. Maybe if you lost all your health from pressing the wrong keys, you’d start back from the beginning (or previous checkpoint) instead of the current checkpoint?

Other thing I noticed is that the collision areas on the corners of the platforms are angled so you end up sliding down them if you’re stuck there. I can appreciate the intentional difficulty of that but it’s unfair if the keys change while you’re on the corner and you can’t move until it’s done swapping.

Great job overall!

I feel like this would be great if there was a bullet time mechanic before the controls changed, so if it changed mid air or right before a jump you had the time to adjust. That would be less frustrating and more anxiety inducing. Nice work.

Great Idea! The controls can be a little frustrating tho since the player can slip off an edge if you stand close to it (especially on small platforms, i guess you are using a circle collider instead of a box collider?) Also the keys can change midair causing you to miss your jump, it would be great if you could see when keys are going to change or if they only changed when you are grounded. Anyway, really enjoyed your submission! :)

Intresting Idea
The idea of the game that the controls change is very good and that is randomized makes it unpredictable what key could be next

The only frustrating thing that I missed a crutial jump because the controls changed mid-air combined with very small platforms, discuraged me to play further. But from what I have seen...

Great Job!

Interesting idea with a pretty good execution. Would greatly benefit from some way of clearly communicating when the controls are going to change before they actually do, though. Plus, the smallest platforms felt too slippery. Not bad at all!

Took me 5:47! The last two sections were tough, I felt I sometimes unfairly slipped off the blocks. That being said, this is one of the better versions of "your keys change every x seconds" games I have played during the jam. Really liked the idea of the keys that would hurt you too as a punishment for forgetting to switch keys. Great job! :)

the idea is nice. I had fun. The only tricky thing, sometimes the key change right before or during the jump action.
