I 100% agree with suizout's assessment there, it's not clear 'how' the machines break on your first go, or whether it made the correct drink at all. There should be more indication of which drink it makes and time for trial and error. I like the wiggle animation of the machines when you turn then on though, very nice!

Thanks for your comment!

You are absolutely right: I realized there is no description how exactly machines break.

If I'll continue working on the game after jam end, that will be the first thing to fix along with time to try all buttons, not only 2.

A pretty decent game jam submission, and I really liked the idea. The camera movement was a little janky though, and it wasn't as fun as it could have been. I think it's mainly because it was one mistake and it's game over. Although this works for games where there's a pattern to learn, when it's randomised like this seems to be you just end up with a random chance of not messing up the very first time the machines break. You did give just enough time to try a second choice, but I frequently guessed wrong twice which meant I didn't really have the opportunity to progress. A really simple but neat idea, a couple more tweaks and it would be a lot of fun!

Thanks for such a nice feedback! Yes, that is my mistake not to give opportunity to try to make all three types of coffee.

Simple concept, simple art - but a good core gameplay loop. I'd like to see some sort of visible time pressure on the player. The controls were intuitive and easy to grasp.

More distinct colours to make it more obvious when the machine malfunctioned would be good. Also, my first 3 customers all wanted latte - I'm not sure if that was intended, but since I had 6 things to make and only had to use one, it might've been nice to ensure you get variety in the first couple of orders.

Well done!

Thanks for the review!

Nice idea. Could have done with some sounds and a faster mouse speed.

Developer

Thanks! 48 hours limit is tough :)

Pretty nice concept. The main issue is (mb only as my experience) is when machine malfunction more than 2 times it's reaaaaally hard to get the coffee to the customer on time

The idea is cool, but I felt like playing it is not as fun as I would expect :/

Developer

Sorry to hear that, did the game become less fun after machines became broken or you simply got bored after some tries?

I love the customer models xD

It was probably the "hardest" thing to make in whole game :D

I like the presentation. Good game!
