Couldn't get this to work sadly!

Hi, took a while to setup but it finally worked. It's quite a shame that you have to go for so many steps to get to actually play the game, but i was lucky I was playing friends at the time and could make this one work. It's really good and worth it even thought to arrive to it it's quite hard. Good game and great job! 20/20 had a blast!

Do I have to host my own server to play this? I don't get it.

Developer (2 edits)

Unfortunately yes, because it is online multiplayer only. If you want to play you can run the server by downloading the "GMTK 2020 files" folder, open command prompt, cd into the /server folder, then run npm test. Then if you want to have a look at it, double click index.html in the root folder you can connect with "localhost" as the ip.
