Neat idea. I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Hey, thanks for playing!

You actually missed a feature - the ability to glitch through walls and stuff which we teach the player just past the tower. But I understand with trying to play so many games you had to keep things quite short.

Glad our game is in your stream!

Really cool idea with lots of promise. I'd love to see it developed further!

Very creative idea and a great take on the theme. I really enjoyed the rewind function. Great game!

First time in my life i'm really happy to have lag spikes! Well done coming with this concept :D

Developer

Glad to have been able to give you a unique experience! ;-)

Really original concept with lot of clever ideas ! I seems there is a lot of bug  (the second checkpoint that is not working, the noclip mode that make you go through the top limit of the level) but it stay fun to play. I specially liked to use the lag to jump while falling or the fact that once you get used to the high lag mode, it is hard to come back to the low lag mode.

Developer

Hey yeah, we know the bugs - we unfortunately ran out of time before we could fix everything... probably go back and patch them up after competition's over.

We're glad you had fun with the lag!

The idea is really original and fits the theme beautifully. Really well-done on that. I think the presentation and story could have used some work, but that's understandably secondary to the main mechanics which you've got a really cool idea for.

I like this concept, its like practice for gaming with bad internet connection haha. I also greatly appreciate the text overlay tutorial. made learning what your game was about really easy

Developer

Yeah, we're quite happy with how it came out! :-D We had a lot of fun designing the mechanics.

I really liked the idea. The game feels awful to play, but in a good way :D

Playing with lag is usually bad, but with this game it becomes useful.

Platforming was a big buggy

Developer(+1)

Thanks for trying it out!

For getting stuck in the platforms, you can just hold ENTER to noclip upwards at least.

Luckily with this, the bugs just become part of the theme! :-P
