Really cool idea. I think it would be better if the grappling tool was "stickier," as it feels really good to start to build up a flow only to miss a grapple point because of the fixed angle and range of the hook.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! The grappling hook is something that I definitely would have changed, given more time.

I don't really know what I'm doing lol. Mashing the spacebar works most of the time. An explanation would be nice. I get that it scrolls through the moves you can do and you have to use them in that order, but I'm confused as to what the chain does. Looks really nice, though!

Thank you for the feedback! We had intended to implement a tutorial, or at the very least an in game explanation of the mechanics, but ended up so pressed for time at the end there that we had to prioritize other things. Definitely adding that first if we continue development though.

It's a fun concept, but I'm not really sure if it works. The character has no real weight so traversal feels frustrating and you never really feel like you're building any kind of momentum.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We'll definitely be tweaking the game-feel some more if we decide to continue development.

I like the use of 3 different abilities to move, but spamming spacebar is the probably the way to go on this and that makes this very dull.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! We had intended to design the levels a little more deliberately so that it wasn't possible to spam the spacebar, but ended up having to compromise that to finish on time. If we make any more levels for this game, they'll definitely have obstacles and enemies placed such that spamming the spacebar doesn't work anymore.
