Cool game I really enjoyed it.
NICE!!! but there is a bug at the beginning where you get to attack someone while you are getting to the palace and if you select swarm the game becomes unplayable but over all good job
Interesting game, I liked the music, it fits the style of the game very well.

Really enjoyed the fast-paced battling system (reminded me of undertale). The game is of course a little lacking in graphics, but that can always be worked on (and heck, its a game jam, what matters most is fun).
The pixel art and music are really good.
Sadly, I couldn't play this game a lot. I dont know if this is a problem with my computer.
I couldnt interact with anything using Z, so I didnt know what to do (I believe the trigger area for conversation is pretty small, which wont let you talk unless you are in EXACTLY the right position).
I somehow manage to talk with the 4 people protecting the gaurdian and fight with them. i die because i didnt knew how to fight :p (also, in that fight flee is disabled and there is no Feedback to the player about that). The second time I fight with them, I couldnt progress the conversation, it just got stuck.
I think a pixelated Font would have fitted the game a lot better, you can get a free one at fonts.google.com
Thanks for the feedback! Especially with collisions and player feedback since that's the kinda thing I tuned out when I was doing my (admittedly very rushed) playtesting.
And yeah most of the code was sadly a bit rushed since this was my first time using Unity, so I'm sure even though I was able to do a full run there were still quite a few game-breakers I missed... Live and learn, just means I'll take extra care to make sure it doesn't happen in the future =)
Please don't click the linux icon if you have a windows executable :/
(some of us actually just have linux :) )
Ahh my bad, the exporter made it seem like "universal" meant that it would run just fine on Linux but I see now that that is not the case. Took the tag down, and my apologizes for the misunderstanding.
