I thought the missing text was some kind of mechanic that I was supposed to use to get to the last portal :D, anyway I could not figure the fires and gave up after some time. Overal atmosphere was great, though little chopy sometimes on my pc.

Atmosphere in the game is just right. Maybe few extra sounds would make it more juicy. Controls are smoth and simple so you can easily enjoy whole experience. Maybe some nicer interactible UI indication and fitting font could add up to overall mood. Nice game.

Developer

Thank you! We appreciate both, the nice words and the feedback!

That was insanely atmospheric! The hotfix with full text was much better, the game wouldn't be complete without the lore in my opinion. However, in the last scene, I couldn't read the text on walls, and I don't know if it was intentional...?

Anyway, I loved the concept of exploration, puzzles, and weird environment with cool portals. 10/10 atmosphere.

Developer

Thank you, Im glad you you liked it since the atmosphere was what was aimed for,  so im glad it was somewhat achieved! For the walls in the last scene, unfortunately there was no time to add more text/story even tho it was planned :c Will try to manage time/speed better next time :D

I loved it, cool concept and easy-to-understand controls. I appreciate lower gravity on a planet, which makes for higher jumps and better control during jumps. The missions were simple, but required different skills (although it wasn't that hard). I can imagine it being a full game with more levels and harder challenges. Great job!

Developer

Thank you, really appreciate the comment and im glad you liked it!

I dig that Portals effect, really cool. Story is simple, I like messages from lost civilization... kinda reminds me game Lifeless Planet ^_^.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I wish we had an extra hour, wanted to put more messages and expand the little story a bit, but theres only so much you can do in such a short amount of time!

Heh, how are you doing the portal effect?

Developer(+1)

The main idea is that for 2 connected portals you have 2 offset cameras(so 6 in total for our game), that follow the players position and project what the cameras see onto a plane that is in the middle of a portal model(a shader helps with a correct projection). Then you have 2 connected colliders via a script that teleports you to the other portal. (you can google brackeys portals for more details)

Since the text was bugged I decided to fix it, was only a matter of seconds so It's a shame we didn't catch it before the sub, but in case anyone wanted the read the little story again here's the link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_BGiSByph3XWIcqxRQVTvj6w9MQiaWx6/view

Whoa, that portal effect was quite impressive! Sadly during my playthrough, the text was probably bugged since I was able to only see the first two lines of text (but I suspect there was more since sentences sometimes ended in the middle). Seems like I missed a huge part of the story because of that, I will gladly play the game again in the future if you plan to fix it:)

Yea, but the portals also cost a lot of time! :D It's sad I didn't catch the missing text during testing, because it's a really small but impactful bug, I posted the fix in the comments and the game descriptions tho!

I really loved the atmosphere in this game. The game design was also smart, because not for a moment I felt lost. The flow was really good and the right way showed itself every time. Clever use of particles and music made me feel like I am really in an unknown place. Great Job!    P.S. Loved the portal effect!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
