Good concept!
Strong proof of concept that could be fun! As people have mentioned the sword feels underwhelming and we feel the double jump is a bit lacking as well. However with a little more work this could be something great!
The hit feels really weird to perform (mostly because it feels like it has a low reach even though it doesn't) and the jumps are way too low, but I think if you fix those issues you could have a decent movement system at your disposal! The sfx also don't fit with the feel of the game you went for, so you might wanna spend a bit more time looking into/making effects that work better next time.
I thought the game controlled well, and the visuals and music were pretty fitting. I thought it was pretty fun, but I'd like if there was a bit more to it!

A really cool concept, loved the fact that your timer is your life and it made me move faster and play more aggressively, so 5/5 on the theme

Hello! So a quick headsup, but in the web build of this game, in endless mode there's no feedback when you get hit by an enemy. I know web builds can get some errors so I downloaded the files and played it on my computer.
I think it's an ok game but the combat doesn't really feel good. It's not fast and the range is too short. The crescent attack is neat but I think it should be a staple and not a collectible to make up for the combat. As was said, the dash is ok but it doesn't really go far and doesn't have any benefits as I just end up running into bullets or enemies. I also think that the number of enemies spawned in endless mode should be lowered or at least the bullets should be because I die within 10 seconds of the game.
Other than that, decent game and congrats on finishing for the jam!
As was said before the range of the sword is too short. Also there could be more spawning points added to the scene. Love the main menu.

My two cents about the game:
- The range of the sword is really too short, it is really difficult to hit enemies without getting hit by their bullets.
- There is a lack of feedback when hitting other enemies, the current flash animation could be improved to make the player feel the hit more.
- The dash animation itself is nice, but the sound effect doesn't sound appropriate IMO ^^
Good job doing this on your own, I hope you had fun making the game!
