It was fun, the Don't Stop timer looks like it can be a good idea, but for now it's not much of a threat. Also would like more feedback on when the player gets hit and when the enemies are going to shoot. But I loved the visuals, the red popped out! Well done!

Really cool game. Audio, graphic and concept. Very oriental. I played for very long time in it ^^

I really liked this!  The graphics immediately drew me to this game and I wasn't disappointed when I began playing.  Slashing through the enemies and firing the guns felt really fun and satisfying for some reason, and really contributed to the juice of the game.  You only had one frame for the slash animation (as far as I could tell), and yet it still felt really nice and smooth to me.  The sound effects you had for everything felt great as well.  Overall, really good game!  Well done!

Hotline Samurai Ninja Miami. Graphics are original. Plays great.

It's like a feudal japan Hotline Miami ^^

Overall the gameplay is fun, but the guns feel waaaay more juicy/fun to play with than the basic sword swing

Really nice art and overall vibe of the game. Gameplay wise the combat felt pretty good however I personally would have liked to see a goal to the game other than simply kill as many as possible.

I liked the concept!

The fact of not moving actually killing you really fits the theme! The art style is original and i like it, hitting enemies feels very satisfying (very JUICY hit stop). The fact that you get health on each kill is a real life saver, because otherwise the game would be way to difficult!

A few things that I think could be improved:
- Maybe adding some invincibility frames after getting hit would help, because otherwise if two
ennemies shoot at you at the same time, you die instantly.
- The hit stop before attacking is a bit too long IMO. (the one after hitting an enemy feels excellent though).
- Also music is too repetitive, but sound effects are nice!

Good job!

Great concept, still very basic in it's gameplay and the audio visuals could use some work. The gameplay is pretty difficult with the sword having a much smaller range than the enemies' guns, but as long as I'm not in a group of them it ends up working out alright. Not sure what the heartbeat mechanic was for other than to follow the jam's theme, so maybe put more thought into what something is contributing towards player fun next time you put in a gimmick like that.

Also please change the text for the UI, it's borderline unreadable and not good for UI

Loved the hotline miami vibe. The background and repetetive music is killing me tho.
