I really like that it's an on rails dungeon crawler. Your creature design was freaking awesome too! My only critique is that for me the actions menu would cover up the fight so I couldn't see what was happening when I'd attack. Other than that, cool atmosphere and love the general game design.
It's a very cool idea.
Shouldn't you also use a gameboy control scheme? Meaning, you have to use a D-Pad and A+B buttons. What you have now is touch control. I think it is in the rules:
Otherwise, this is a really addictive game. Very retro. Good job!
You right, fixed this
Really neat game that was actually pretty addicting XD 1 suggestion I would have would to make the menu for left hand right hand and bag actions smaller and on the bottom or top, or transparent backround so you can see the enemy and when you move after defeating it
thanks for feedback!
it was transparent at start, but i think this will break the rules, so i changed it to plane color
Ahh I see! Perhaps one solution to what I stated would be to automatically close that window after a battle (when moving) or have a second or two pause before you start moving (after a battle, to close it yourself) How long did this take you? Its quite impressive for what it is
Thanks, it took 3-4 days to make
This breaks the 4 colors rule. Please fix before the deadline
Thanks, updated new version
The game still uses anti-alias, and touch controls are against the rules
Edited, turned off aa, and set to low graphics settings, and now its playable with arrows and space button
