The number font in the corners and the lighting effect absolutely disregard the 160x144 and 4-color rules, but it appeared the rest followed it well.

I quickly got annoyed that running into a wall blocked movement parallel to a wall as well. You had to back up a step to move any other direction.

There seemed to be something to collect while avoiding the weird monster thing, but it was unclear to me what or how much of the things to collect.

Congrats for your entry!

I must say you build up your atmosphere pretty well, the monsters gave me the chill! Good job!

spooky! I found the map to be a bit complicated/large, maybe a mini-map or something smaller?

Developer

yeah maybe

The atmosphere was good, the graphics too, yet i feel that a bit more of sprites should had make some diference, and i think the fade effect on the screen, kinda surpasses the Jam's ideia, cuz the gameboy does'nt support semi-transparency, yet put thoose things aside it's a pretty solid game!

Developer

ok thanks

There isn't much direction to inform the player what to do. I thought I needed to leave from the forest... Then I got an item, so I started to collect them... But I wasn't able to collect more... Then I was able to use the item and I got a point... It gets confusing...
But the whole concept is great. It is pretty creepy to play.

Developer

Ok in the game you collect these item you can only have one and there is a machine and if you touch the machine the collected item will get deleted and you just have to do this until the entrance open
