How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
You play as a witch, who collects stray black cats. You also can fight ghosts. Plus I kept up a gameboy aesthetic as best as I could

Super cute. The noise the cats make when you pick them up are so great.
What could be better than gathering cats to soothing music? At some point, fireballs began to spawn and fly in the opposite direction.
I died more times than I'd like to admit. Controls feel great though, despite my ineptitude. Very fun.
