This game is so cute! The art is very nice, and the I love the music! Do you have the songs uploaded anywhere/plan to do that? I'd love to be able to listen to them by themselves.

It was hard to be able to read the arrows and the A's and B's in the second and third song, but it was still very fun to play! The little pet is also adorable <3

What glamorous art!

I was not expecting a rhythm game! I loved Thrilliing, though I only got about 60% :P. The pet I chose was really cute, both when hatched and when it evolved :3

Thank you so much! I'm glad you evolved your pet!! :)

Is the soundtrack uploaded to Youtube or anywhere, by any chance? I can't get Thrilling out of my head, I loved it!

That was quite fun! The art and character design is exceedingly charming. The soundtrack is great! Although, at times it sounds more like Casio than Game Boy. The mechanics are competent and fun to pull off. I liked the mapping for each song!

(I am not very familiar with rhythm games, so my judgements might be a bit off base!)

The directions are a bit difficult to distinguish from each other at speed. Different colors might help. The same is true of 'A' and 'B'.

I think there's a reason that DDR-likes tend to have each direction on its own track: it adds another way to tell what's what at a glance. Having it all on one track can be a little confusing at times, especially when it comes to distinguishing the twirls and fast 'A' and 'B' chains in "Thrilling."

All-in-all, great work!

Definitely agree. Thank you so much for playing and the feedback! :3

This was done really well, I just really suck at rhythm games. I wish so badly I didn't because this looks really fun. Cute art, great music, :( I just lack the skills.

This game is so cute. The combination of Tamagotchi meets Dance Dance Revolution is genius. The tunes are so catchy and the song titles made me giggle. Love the artwork and colour palette.
Excuse me while I try and 100% one of those songs now...

Thanks so much! Glad you liked it. The songs are stuck in my head now! lol

First song was fun and enjoyable to play, the other two, uh, i'd have to record the screen and replaythe video to even know what buttons I missed pressing haha. Cute graphics

Developer(+2)

I don't blame you! haha. I only got to about 69~% for the second song and about 60 for the third! but thank you! :D

great graphics and super sound. well done. I didn’t really know what to do, except playing the rythm games.

Developer(+1)

thanks so much! the rhythm game part kinda overtakes the gameplay, but it's all good! we had to cut a lot unfortunately :( but all in the spirit of a jam!

I liked the music, and it was pleasurable trying  to play along with the songs.

I'm not sure about the gameplay apart from the music part, but those were some proper nice tunes! (Tho maybe they weren't very game boy-esque...?)

I kept feeding the kitty but it din't grow :( it seemed happy tho, which was nice

(Bonus points connecting A and B buttons not to the letters Z and X, but to their positions on the keyboard. As an alternative layout user I feel seen :)
