Very unique take on the theme and a fun spin on a defense game. The art and music is solid alongside it. The enemy spawns are a bit inconsistent as I had an enemy spawn touching the folder and resulting in an instant loss several times. But otherwise a fun entry!

I liked the idea and the music! I found that the enemies often spawned almost on the folder which was frustrating. Also, the mouse tracking doesn't really match with the gb controls. Congrats on the submission!

sometimes the enemies spawned way too close to the folder, but it was fun! good music and loved how the enemies seemed to spawn on beat lol

Really cute idea! However I didn't feel it was too much of a gameboy game since the mechanic follows the mouse, maybe have the D-Pad move the character, B to rotate and A to shoot. Great job!

I love the computer storage theme, if you can't tell by my submission xD

I couldn't help but feel like the gameboy feeling was hampered by the use of the mouse in a top down because there are no top down aspects that could be utilized on a gameboy, or has an extra input (the mouse position). It did feel fun, but it was frustrating when an enemy spawned on top of the folder and was an immediate game over

you should make this into a mobile game with an auto shoot

my buddy leon's pretty good at making music. im adding some of his other songs after I update it

it feels wrong to use the mouse to aim and shoot an the keyboard to move. also, some of the enemies spawn too close to the folder that it is impossible to kill then. nice effort enyways!

Mouse controls means this doesn't really work as a gb game. You also can't shoot with z, but you need to press z to start the game, so be ready to swap from z to WASD really fast because it's game over in half a second otherwise.
