I really liked this game, great idea
great art and music. Wish I could skip the into dialogue. Was unsure what the end goal was but ended up with like 6 monkeys chasing me around and had no way to lose them. Good game though.
Thank you for your comments. That's very helpful! - I didn't make it at all clear what the objective was. The idea is pretty much to avoid getting spotted at all and escape the facility, by using bananas to distract guards, and staying hidden (using the plants) from enemy line of sight. But I did not make that clear at all, so big lesson learned!
Breaking the 4th wall in the intro cutscene? That's my kind of game!

Other than the text being blurry it looks pretty nice. Not clear on what do do though. I can't do anything with the bananas other than pick them up and put them down? I tried to throw them or something but it just dropped and I can't pick back up. And I get shot if I go near the big guys.
I'll play again if I'm missing something. :P
Ah yeah I needed to make that clearer! It's basically a stealth game. If you get "spotted" the enemies will all come and shoot you. You can use the bushes to hide in.
If you drop a banana within a certain radius, the guards will stop patrolling and eat the banana. You can drop it in the bushes for example on the first one as long as its close enough. When you're in the bushes the guards won't see you. And then when they're eating you can hit X a few times to kill em. I might add some descriptions to the game so its more clear, thanks for letting me know!
Aaaah that makes a lot of sense. Is it mentioned in the game? There is a lot of text and I might have fazed out while reading due to headache today, haha.
No not really -- not your fault at all. I kinda ran out of time. The only thing mentioned is that the guards love bananas. (that little info crate at the beginning) But I needed to be more clear about the stealth elements. it's a bit rough around the edges, but for the most part, you use the bushes to stay hidden, drop a banana in their line of sight (most of the time it can be in a bush as long as its within their radius), and they'll eat it, then you attack.
