I smiled the whole time - something about your game was just inherently funny. starting from the spot-on title, the cheerful animated character and the explosion sending you off into space: i was very amused. I'm not sure if the main game mechanic is working 100% as it is supposed to be, but it kinda added to the charm that the we sometimes just randomly sunk. honestly, just put a second player into it and have players push each other off the platform (or play coop - -their choice) and your are golden :-)
I'm really glad that you enjoyed what we've done with so few skills.
Yeah, the floating effect was not as expected, but when we started to laugh while trying it, it became a feature :'D
It's a really good idea to implement a coop/vs mode. I have no idea how tricky it will be to do it, but I will give it a go!
Thanks a lot!
I’m not sure if I missed something but some times the platform sank without a reason (or atleast I didn’t saw one. Still funny game.
Yeah, it's a bug..
You might have stood on a prop, and somehow, the character's weight is transferred to the platform.
There is also a limit at which the platform can no longer float.
I like that the platform isn't totally static! And catching rocks on my head.
Also the music is nice, which it looks like you made yourself!
Great work on the submission and congrats on your first game :)
Thanks for the feedback, happy to see that it was somehow fun :D
That was fun and reminded me of old school Tiger Electronic handheld game play. I wish there was a scoring mechanic and a count of how many times I died. Flying off the level via explosion was hilarious!
I wanted to add a death score and/or a timer leaderboard and polish the UI, but not enough time.
It is definitely on my to-do list for the next update.
Happy to see that you liked it!
