Very cool minimalistic look. Main dash mechanic makes for some satisfying high-paced gameplay. Some sound would further enhance the experience. GJ on the submission!
This is a cool time killer.
Lots of fun! I used the controller cause z seemed like it was gonna be awkward. I have no idea why my run ended when it did, but it was fun. A killer soundtrack would round this out really well. Thanks for putting it together!
I have to agree with some other people's comments about Z to dash as being a little weird. I think dashing to kill enemies is counterintuitive, and I would have preferred a shooting mechanic. I also don't know where I'm supposed to go. Either way, I had fun playing this little game! Congrats on your submission
I stayed in the center for the first couple games then saw a screen shot so I went traveling and encountered beam guy and that scared the hell out of me. Good job sir. Thanks for your submission.
This is really good. The aesthetics are simple but work really well. Most of all it is fun to play. I also feel like this has a lot of potential for being scaled up into something more complex, if want to take it in that direction. My only criticism is that I don't like the z-key for the dash ability. presonally, I would prefer something like spacebar or mouseclick for the dash.
wow this game is amazing I enjoyed it very much
The best I could do!
Is there really a final boss at the end? I'm not good enough to find out.
What you have is pretty solid, the controls are tight and dashing through enemies is a fun way to fight them.
It might seem like you'd have to put in a ton of work to make this more impressive, but all it would really take is adding background music, putting in a few sound effects and replacing the circle sprites with appropriate ones for the player and enemies. :)
I liked this game a lot! Good job. I think the mechanics are interesting, dashing through enemies is cool. I had some trouble understanding what the bars on the bottom left of the UI were supposed to indicate. Maybe including some sound or visual effects would also enhance the player's experience. I think that a taking damage sound and a dashing noise would take your game to the next level!
Overall I think that you did a pretty good job! I like how you changed the colors on the background. That really gave a sense of "what's next?"
