This takes me back to my youth in the arcades! All I need is a joystick

This was simple, but very fun. I really liked the art style and the sound effects, well done!

You were right. I did die and I will die again! This was a really fun one. The sound effects really made me feel like I was playing one of the classic scrolling shooters and everything felt very satisfying!

Love the retro feel of the game, would've liked to see support for alternate controls as this game could make for a great one hand game with wasd controls, also an auto-fire would've been nice too, my finger hurts from pressing space too much.

As for the games enemies, sometimes they travelled faster up the screen than my lasers did so i could never hit retreating enemies, good variety of enemies however, would've liked to see some noticeable scaling as time progresses too
