The font is "Pixel NES." All the sound effects were downloaded from OpenGameArt.org: wobbleboxx (sun coin sound, level complete sound, checkpoint sound, game over sound) / leohpaz (enemy stomp sounds) / Aeva (crystal collecting sound) / dklon (jumping sound). The background music used is called "Flowerbed Fields," and was made by Zane Little Music on OpenGameArt.org.

Real charming game, with some cheeky dialogue. Overall a bubbly romp.
This game is very well done. Sound design, music, and game mechanics are very good. My only complaint would be that my browser doesn't like it when I hold down ctrl so it would pause the game every time. This issue could easily be fixed by simply downloading and playing the game that way. Good work!
Wow! I really, really enjoyed your game! The look and feel of it is so nice - great job with the sprites, too! I can tell that you put a lot of work and effort into your game, the quality of it really shows! I especially loved the dialogue, it's super cute and very funny! I also very much enjoyed the mechanic of being able to switch between the light and dark dimensions even while in mid-air, plus the other fun things we can do in each dimension! The only slight issue that I encountered is that I found it very difficult to have to move, run, jump, switch dimensions, and sometimes reset all with the same hand, but maybe that's just me, hehe~ Regardless, it was a very fun and very enjoyable game you made, and I'm really glad I got to play it!
As a side note, congratulations on your first game jam submission! I really hope you enjoyed the experience! ^^
Thank you for the detailed feedback! I'm glad you liked the game! The jam has definitely been a fun experience, seeing what others have created and for me finally releasing a game for the first time.
Oldschool 2D game style! Cool! :)
You worked good on this game . I like the game mechanics
Agree with the comment about the Z button. I kept misclicking. That said, this was a lot of fun and really made good use of the theme. The feel of the jumping and movement was satisfying, and the puzzles were fun to complete and not frustrating. Great work!
Really enjoyed this one! I love the sprites you've created, and the animations have loads of character.
I found "Z" quite difficult to reach when my fingers are on the WASD keys but maybe that's just me.
Either way, a fun game, great work!
Hi, thanks for commenting! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I forgot to mention it on the in-game tutorial, but you can also use the Tab key to swap dimensions. Maybe that'll make it easier for you. Thanks for playing!
I actually played and rated this yesterday, but forgot to comment. Nice game, controls were a bit weird, but it was enjoyable. Good job
Thanks for playing! I just updated the game earlier today with a different control scheme that hopefully works better.
I'll retry it at some point :)
The game feels finished. But I think there were some problems, most critical being hte controls. For a web game using Ctrl and shift at the same time isnt a very good idea(it is a shortcut), also shift for jumping and space for shifting the dimensions doesn't feel good. Morever, after each death, the music restarts, so I can actually never hear the full music. Other than those, the game feels retro and cute, It fits the theme pretty well and I loved the mario star collecting style level design to finish the levels. The mechanics are simple and well used, the tutorial is well done, good job! My only complaints about the mechanics would be the jump being too high
Thanks for the comment! I'm about to upload a new version with different controls since that has been a common critique on the game. Thanks for playing!
Good game and fun. It's true that the keybinds are a bit unusual, I got a little confused while playing but good job.
Thanks for playing! I always liked using Shift for jumping, but I realize now I'm not in the norm, lol. Anyway, I added an update with altered keybinds. Thanks for the comment!
A simple yet fun game! I like the fact that you have to use switching between day and night to your advantage. Not being able to proceed until you switch correctly is a good challenge. The graphics and aesthetics are pretty consistent although it would be nice to have a little animation of sorts when the diamonds are collected. The 8-bit music and pixelated sprites give it a nice retro feel. The mechanics are simple, however I feel that the space should be used for jumping as it feels more natural that way. The game follows the theme pretty well since the game itself is 2D and there is a level of duality between switching from night and day. Overall an excellent little game! Thanks!
Pretty cool concept; the keybinds are a bit weird, but I managed; the art style is nice and simple; it suits well with the music and SFX; but I think it needs a bit more polishing with the tilesets, specifically the dirt ones. Overall, good job!
As other people said, you should change the keybinds so space maps to jump. Kept switching dimensions by mistake and dying. Also, the background shows under gaps in the tilemap.
Otherwise a fun game with interesting mechanics, a good consistent look, and great selection of music. Well done!
The key binds are bit weird. Fun game.
pretty simple and fun game. It is easy to play too. In my opinion, it is better if you change the button binding for example Space for jump, and TAB to switch dimension. overall, nice job!
Very polished and good game
