Good idea, made me start thinking on doing something similar

Played and rated.

Enjoyed the atmoshpere a lot, it felt like I was in an english city trying to spread as many zombies as possible! It would have been great to have a sprint or faster movement speed though. Good work for this game jam!

Would appreciate if you check out and rate our game as well: https://hadilepanda.itch.io/rise-of-necromancy

Got to 36, I like it, keep working.
My first suggestion would be putting a sprint on the Left Shift button, the second would be to replace the capsule with a mixamo model and animations.

Appreciate the effort you put into the terrain, the minimap and scoring.

Cheers :) Yeah I should of started with an actual model to be fair. Would of like to of had some animation in there but I think I worried too much in the planning phases

Cool idea. I personally feel that that camera position is too high, in any case, Congrats!

Developer

Thanks, the idea changed a little along the way. I think after playing a little I felt I should of had some camera control in the mouse too

Cool concept. Everything fits nice. camera position for player is awkward. Personally i think if the player were lower to the bottom of the screen it would feel better. Trees blocking view get irritating. had fun playing it. Great game.

Developer

Thank you. I agree, had the same issues with the buildings too. Thank you for playing  :)

The game does not seem to start when clicking the Start button. Does the game work for others?

Also, I noticed that the Start screen is not fully shown if the game is not in fullscreen mode. You can fix this by changing the settings of the game on itch.io: Edit Game -> Embed option. Increase the Height value so that the whole game screen will be shown or alternatively select "Click to launch in fullscreen" as shown in the image below to make the game only playable in fullscreen mode.

Thank you, I have made the change now. Game should start but I must admit it lagged a little when I did it - probably could have optimised some aspects of the loading, and possibly gone with a much smaller map! :P

Simple graphics but a potentially fun game.

Developer

Thank you. I'm gutted I didn't start off making the game with an actual zombie prefab. I think next time i'll have some of my own styled assets to fit in better
