Great little game and great execution in a short amount of time. The graphics and the music is very well selected. Looking forward to more stories and more levels.

Nice graphics and mechanics, maybe need some sound effects, good job!

Really enjoyed you're game, the art style, music, puzzles. Just wish there was more to, it's such a shame you didn't have the time to add more.

I'm following you now, so I really do hope you add some more when the jam is over.

Great job

Thank you for the kind words. I am glad you enjoyed it.

I'll definitely continue with this game after the jam is over. :)

Aww, I was a bit let down when I got to your message in the end. Would have loved to see more levels! I can completely understand why that wasn't possible. Although, that "What the..." got a chuckle out of me. I really liked your bit of environmental storytelling with showing us how the lady had died. That was a nice touch. Great job with your submission!

Also, nice choice of background art hehe

I broke the game pretty fast. On the second screen, while holding the key, I allowed the platform to bring me up. I dropped the key, it flew down the screen and when I went down and pressed the switch for the platform to come down, it pushed me and the key down.

Then I was able to walk through the first box by letting the box drop the key and picking it up right afterwards. I assume this might work for other boxes set up in a similar fashion.

Also, dropping the key while on any solid platform above the ground will result in it passing through the higher up platforms and landing on the ground.

Aside from the collision issues, I find this game very pretty. You did a great job with the visuals.

The key dropping to the bottom most tiles creates a softlock too

Thank you for the feedback. This is very helpful.
I was aware of the platform squishing behaviour but had not experienced the other points.  It's good to know, thank you!

Really nice artwork and I agree with what Kethram said about the music selection. Great job ! Walking speed felt alright to me but I'm patient and don't mind slower paced games.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing :D

I'll get the music fixed for the next push. Maybe ill make the walking speed customizable. I like the current speed too. ^^;

I enjoyed plying it. Music fits well with the theme. You might want to set it to looping, now it stops playing at the end of the track, which is a shame. Also maybe make the girl walk a little faster, it takes some time to move from one end of the screen to the other. Don't worry, those are just miner points, not effecting my rating :)

Developer

Thanks! I am glad you enjoyed it. But more so that you took the time to let me know the bugs!
I'll get those sorted out. Thanks again.
