Very stylish and concise look. Plays quite smoothly and fast. Is collection all the souls even possible?

As Henrique already said in the comment below, the skulls following you just within their territory feels really polished.

(Just looked at the git repo - you might want to remove that crashdump file "mono_crash.mem.41684.1.blob" from it... ;) )

It should be possible,  it's quite difficult but using your spare lives should be sufficient. I'll take a look at my . gitignore file. Shouldn't be commited, thx for the headsup

The pixel art is amazing and the enemy design is very cool. I like the aspect of "I will follow you just a bit" from the skulls. It creates urgency to be far from the enemies but it doesn't become a eternal pursuit until the end of the game. Great work!

that's a very good example how to create engaging gameplay moments with super basic AI.
I loved how the skulls were like "not worth the trouble" and returned to their resting place.
also: very nice color palette!
