Nice idea! Rescuing miners is always a real fight against time in real life!

Good job!

Cheers!

Cool game. I can't gow down with the S key but I can with the down arrow, I don't know if it's a bug or it's intended. I died while rescuing a person and when I revived I couldn't move :S. I like the retro style of the game and the music.

Thanks for the feedback. I completely forgot to map the 'S' key to also function like the down arrow.  I'll get that fixed. As for dying while rescuing a miner and then not being able to move after re-spawning, I haven't encountered that. I'll try to replicate it,

The game feels a lot better to play now that you have changed the keys :-)

A well done old school game :-)

Proper old school vibes with the music and the visuals, I love it! Really great job, couldn't exactly figure why the hovering sometimes went up ultra fast and sometimes it took ages :D Maybe somehow adding more difficulty, obviously the variety of enemies were good, but I didn't really worry about the timer at all.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to get an update out soon that hopefully fixes that issue and I did reduce the time in the update, so it'll add just a little pressure.

A remake of H.E.R.O! My favourite Atari game. The chopper is very slow  when going upwards sometimes. For some reason the chopper stops working when you start falling downwards. This is really annoying.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. You are the first to reference H.E.R.O. congrats! I too loved that game and always wanted to make something similar.  I have some bugs that I've fixed, I just haven't uploaded a new version yet. I'll get that out soon.

Yes the controls are much better than last time i  played more intuitive the only comment on them is if drop off a big drop and press the jump that it should slows down and can go back up rather than dropping to the bottom  and then been able to go   back up. Like the retro look and feel .  Yes keep on with  it Well done. Enjoyed playing it.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I will absolutely look into doing something like that.

Tried the game. The art(especially the ground) gave me Spelunky vibes. The controls were good, the art(mainly enemies) and music were charming. The game is a bit too easy though. I would try to add more stuff to make the levels look better and more difficult, because other than the enemies and saving the miners, game's a bit lackluster.

Developer

Thanks for the review. I initially had the timer at a lower value, but thought it might not be enough time once you got to levels 3 and 4.  I plan to continue working on the game and implement some other ideas I have to improve game play.

Nice job! I really liked the enemy designs!
