This was a disorienting experience. I can see they went for the narrative approach; from what I gathered, it seemed to focus on a lower-class person trying to climb the societal ladder (by literally climbing) while completing good deeds for others to progress, only to be met with harsh reality at the end. It was a little hard to focus because of the janky camera, clipping models and swaying movement making me nauseous. It could've done with a proper ending to cap off the narrative, and maybe soft music and sound effects sparingly to add to the ambience. Kudos to the game dev for completing their entry in their own vision.

The lack of audio made things feel quite eerie on the whole, and while you might not have intended to have complete silence throughout the game, it does fit somewhat with the grey, misty atmosphere - maybe there would be something in a minimalistic approach to sound if you take this further! The way the story progressed as you climbed up the building gave it a very clear and literal direction, and it feels like the start of a dystopian sort of world which could potentially be quite engaging. As others have said, the movement feels awkward, but at the same time I don't think I've played anything with quite these movement mechanics, so perhaps refining them and neatening them up while keeping their uniqueness would be a good shout.

Interesting concept and a really nice narrative! I like the sense of vertigo it gives you and how it makes you question about why the character is climbing and why are people just watching xD.

If you want to improve, the movement is a bit clumsy and sometimes the camera penetrates the building and since there are no cues on the controls I didn't know if I was moving the right way xD. But if you simply map them in the itch page it will be enough :)

You deserve praise for making such a nice game by yourself, a bit of music to set the tone and some more polish on the movement and you have a terrific gem in hands.

Congrats and nice job!

Ooh a walking-sim (I guess it would be climbing-sim in this case?). The difference between the lighthearted requests like delivering a letter to someone’s (maid) girlfriend and a teddy bear to a girl dressed as a superhero, and the darker bits like delivering benefits to a man about to jump to his death, and being pushed off of the building at the top of the climb by a business man, was a lot. Very tonaly dissonant, which I actually thought made the game better, because of how strange it was to me! Made it quite engaging imo. Gameplay wise, The camera was super janky, but that didn’t affect the ability to know what was going on, so not a huge deal. And that falling to your death didn’t close the game or bring up any sort of message(maybe a bug?). Overall a cool submission.

A solid effort. I never felt like I was totally understanding how to be good at climbing if I am honest and I did have some very much inside the building moments. The feeling of climbing up was pretty good and well the harsh conclusion was unexpected. Good work.

The narrative was pretty cool! Got a bit seasick with the camera movement but made it through the end. Pretty cool for a one-person work !

For a team of one, this was a great attempt. I loved the story, even though I was confused about how I was holding all these items. Ha! But seriously, the narrative was fun (and, I suppose, depressing), but nice work!

Didn't really get the gameplay. However I did like how realistic the climbing seemed! You should add a menu. Would really love to see this game completed. If you don't mind, could you check out my game?

A rather janky but on the whole, admirable effort with some nice melodramatic class tension.

Movement though was at once really basic and also dizzying and erratic with the camera swaying all over the joint, almost feeling detached from the rest of the body. It does admittedly get across the feeling or impression of climbing a tall building with ones bare hands even if it's not necessarily "realistic", though it did distract somewhat imo from the mood that the linear narrative was constructed to achieve.
