Another solo dev entry! I respect one-man teams tackling a game jam on their own.

I appreciate the type of experience you attempted with playing the role of a psychologist as you try to ethically diagnose patients. However, the majority of my playthrough resorted to guessing. Unless I'm missing something, there isn't enough information to correctly diagnose the answer for each patient. I think more time could've been spent on the dialogue so there's more information for the player to parse. The whacky alien characters were interesting!

I feel like this is trying to go for something like Papers Please but I don't have any information to make anything more than a lucky guess about whether or not holding or discharging is best for a given patient (or even if its a trick question and BOTH options could be bad). Since every character looks so strange and alien, it's hard to judge if their mannerisms are supposed to serve as the tell to clue players in or if there's something I'm missing.

If you want to expand, definitely lean into the bureaucratic design mindset of Papers Please. Let players search through a record database of patients, ask them questions about themselves and cross reference the info so the player can make more informed decisions about their requests while also taking into account the hospital funding and the patient's objective wellbeing (so in some cases, giving them what they claim to want might actually make things worse like feeding an addiction etc).

Well now I have added another job I should never apply for to my list. I never got one right. Warning after warning! I like the end scene and the art style was nice. More depth in the decision making would make this a better experience as it is I felt like I was guessing and then to be told off each time was not the most rewarding experience. Lots to like.

Really well done for a 1 person team! I would’ve loved to have seen more of a conversation with each patient, maybe where your responses affect the information you receive and therefore the accuracy of your decision. Would’ve added much more work, maybe too much for 1 week, but just an idea if you took this and expanded on it!

An interesting idea! I loved the character designs!

The idea is pretty neat and well adapted to the theme. However I felt that the player is not given enough information to make the decision, moreover I had to patients give me the same prompt and I answered differently and I made a bad choice in both.

I think if you improve the core loop and provide more information to the player and more consistent results, the game will become really good.

All in all a nice vibe with very fitting music and really well fitted with the theme. Good job fellow devs!

I think this game adhere's well to the theme. My feedback would be do give the characters more indicators of what is good and bad? I have interperted several things wrong which makes the punishment feel a bit out of place and takes away from the fun.

Sometimes it seems like I have to choose randomly, but the game itself is really nice. The ending is brilliant

Thanks for playing. I'm glad you liked it. Do you think a bit more of an explanation would help you figure things out better? I know its all a bit vague at the moment. Glad you got through to the end though.

Yes. I don't know, maybe it's my English that is not so good and I didn't catch something important, but I think that it misses something to understand what I should choose
