Theme interpretation
We thought about shooting at the moon which resulted in getting the idea to make a tribute to a very old game. So we did just that :)

Really funny sfx! The the game's hard but achievable, and the music is amazing. Very funny!
Quite hard game but pretty funny SFX!
Fun audio, although without the barriers of conventional Space Invaders it was very difficult.

Really sorry to hear that :( In which browser did you try it? It does seem to work properly in Chrome and Firefox.
I had similar issues, but I eventually figured out that the game was losing keyboard focus somehow when I interacted with the rest of itch. It may be more about the embedding in itch.io than the game itself.
